Bank of America

I'm still waiting 3 months after an offer on my home was accepted for Bank of America to locate and sign-off on the closing documents that the title company needs to give the green light to proceed with closing. This delay, by the way, is due solely and entirely to B of A's ongoing incompetence in locating their own internal documents that substantiate my original loan having been paid off through Countrywide Home Loans - a bank B of A absorbed. In fact, my loan has been paid off since 2004 and despite my having documents that evidence recorded satisfaction of this loan on my part, B of A has held up my closing to the point where a 300k plus deal is now jeopardized; each time I call of B of A (must now be upwards of nearly 50 times), the only phone call I've ever received back from B of A advised only that I do not call them back - I'm still waiting for them to rectify and resolve their own internal documentation issue - at this juncture,the sale of my property is being held hostage to B of A's incompetence to the point where the transfer of my personal asset has been encumbered and where the acquisition of same property by another buyer has, similarly, been held hostage - three lives being held hostage by B of A.



If there is any lesson to be learned here is that DON'T EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH BANK OF AMERICA - If you do have a business relationship with them, TERMINATE IT immediately; DO NOT consider purchasing any property in which B of A is a stakeholder; DO NOT consider borrowing any money from this institution - TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!



This vendor has deservedly earned a reputation of being THE WORST BANK OF AMERICA if not on the Planet.

Their service is horrible. The rewards program that they have is just not worth the hassle. The customer service representative did not know anything but that could have been because I had a bad representative; she did not know about the products and how to redeem rewards as well. I have still not got my question resolved. I have been put on hold for half an hour. The credit card does not have an annual fee.

I dealt with an employee by the name of Shane Force at Country Wide. He was my contact there and I found him to be very helpful. I found Countrywide to be very responsive to my needs. If I ever had a question, they were quick to respond to me. They were flexible in terms of dealing with my finances too and that is something that tends to be unique about them, at least from my own personal experience.

These people are very good!

Country Wide was good to me. I had no complaints. They were good to was with and the employees seemed to be pretty knowledgeable and personable. I had confidence in their abilities so I had no major complaints that come to mind currently.

The transition was a smooth one, although we felt they could have been a little more friendly in some of their responses. There were no hidden costs and we are satisfied with the mortgage nonetheless.

THIS COMPANY PROVIDES GREAT SERVICE. THEY ARE HELPFUL AND I FEEL OFFER THE BEST RATE AROUND. THEY ARE EASY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH AND ALWAYS ANSWER MY QUESTIONS.
