These guys love Overcharging! I've had homes re-keyed a few times and know a fair price. These guys took advantage pf the situation and charged 4 times the amount that should of been charged! Let me repeat... They overcharged 4 times what they should have. Total scam!

They charged me $200 but were only here about 5 minutes, I understand it was an emergency service call but that price seems too high. They advertised only as "24 Hour Locksmith" but when they completed the work and gave my my invoice it said Avenue Locksmith on it. They have negative reviews on Angie's List as well as the BBB and it looks like they're trying to trick people into thinking they are a different company.

Response time was normal, but the cost for a typical door handle lock was absurd. Was originally quoted at 75$. Worker unlocked the most basic lock you could handle, and the cost was doubled? Not pleased. What made it worse was after we called back to bring this to their attention, the owner (heck maybe was the same guy) was VERY rude kept interrupting. I wasn't asking for money back, just wanted them to be aware at our displeasure. Guess they'll know now. Will never use them again.
