Nick Jolly, the technician, arrived on time with a ten minute notice beforehand. He was courteous and knowledgeable. The work was done well. I'd re-hire this company again and specifically ask for Nick.

Everything went well. Chris is just awesome! He seems to be knowledgeable and quick in getting things done.

Highly recommend this company. Chris Kuntz and his apprentice had to replace connectors and hose for a corner of my soaker hose system in my flower bed, where the installers (different company) had used incorrect connectors (too large). Very much appreciate that Chris showed me how to make minor repairs when squirrels chew through small parts of the hose. And he showed me how to set up a separate schedule for the soaker hose, apart from the main system.

For the price of the coupon I bought on Angie's list, all Aquamax did was come out and tell me what was wrong with my sprinklers, which I already knew. I expected for the Angie's List deal that at the least they would dial individual sprinklers up or down to make the most of the system as is. When I asked for a cost and time to do the necessary replacement and relocation work anyway (the worthless Angie's List deal was a sunk cost, after all), they provided a cost, but would not give me a credit for the cost I paid for the assessment against the total (as they would for a non-Angie's List visit), meaning that you're actually worse off getting the Angie's List deal than going straight to the company. Moreover, they cancelled the subsequent work appointment for threat of rain (fair enough), but never called back to reschedule despite their promise to do so, and so I got the work done another way. Summary - minimal to no value for the coupon in either services performed or deduction against other work; poor follow through by the company. Side note - this interaction actually damaged Angie's List brand for us. When we subsequently saw a $99 deal for housecleaning, my bride joked that all that meant is they'd come out and tell us our house was dirty, then give us a price to do the work.

When I called to schedule the work, Devan, Aquamax Sprinkler Systems' receptionist, was able to book a two-hour appointment for the same week. Tony, our technician, arrived right on time. I showed him the three broken off sprinkler heads that I was aware of, and I told him that there might be other broken heads too. When he asked if the sprinkler system received regular service, I explained that we live in a rented house, and the sprinkler system has not been well-maintained over the years. Tony checked the front and back yards and found seven broken off heads. The most immediate problem was fixing those so water wouldn't **** out of the pipes. During his thorough inspection, he identified additional issues with existing sprinkler heads. He then took the time to explain the immediate and less urgent problems to me and recommended solutions. There were more problems than I anticipated. Several nozzles in our existing sprinkler heads need replacing, a few of the heads need replacing, some need re-aiming, and three sprinkler heads in the front yard do not pop up as they should resulting in under-coverage. Two hours was not enough time to repair the existing sprinkler heads; that required another appointment but he fixed the broken off heads and got the system in working condition. He told me to make another appointment and to request him because he is already aware of the problems and the necessary repairs, so he wouldn't waste time getting up to speed on the issues. My initial appointment was on Friday, and I was able to schedule the next appointment with Tony for next Wednesday. I am impressed with Tony's professionalism and punctuality. He carefully listened to what I had to say and asked questions to ascertain what needed addressing. I was impressed with his knowledge of his trade and his ability to explain the issues and solution options to me. He was conscious of his time, which boded well for the next customer. Aquamax Sprinkler Systems has my highest recommendation.

"During their visit, they left work undone that required me to take extra time off work for a 2nd visit. During the 2nd trip, they pulled up a juniper and did a half _ _ _ ed job replanting it. They also stepped on a hosta then covered it with dirt and mulch so we wouldn't see it. I mistakenly agreed to let their lead technician spray a patch of weeds with his own stash of herbicide. The weeds died but so did my grass where he walked and a big strip of lawn where he cleaned his sprayer. I paid him an extra $40 for killing the weeds and then jokingly offered him the last dollar in my wallet. I was stunned when he walked over and took that dollar out of my hand. I guess it's my fault for letting him do a side job but I sure didn't like the way things turned out."

Wonderful. Tony showed up in the time window and did fast efficient work to get the job done. Very professional, gave me his time to answer my questions. I was very pleased and will hire them again when needed

Aquamax Sprinkler Systems were okay, they came out. I would say they were average. They made several recommendation. He identified all the sprinkler system. There was a lose connection that he connected and he didn't charge for that which I appreciated. He recommended replacing some of the heads. I would have thought that he would have made additional labor to do some of the other things. He did a good job at troubleshooting but some of the things were really super simple and I just didn't want to be charged to do something that I can just go to Home Depot and pick up the part and put it in myself for a few minutes. He did a good job troubleshooting and finding out what was wrong about it. The price that I paid for was good but his recommendation was outrageous. I think he was thorough. I will not use him again because it cost too much.
