Alpine Roofing Construction (ARC) did an excellent job on our roof here in Plano, Texas after the 2016 hail storms that hit the area. Every person I have spoken to has been above and beyond. This goes to Mark Cafaro, Michael and the roofing crew. Being a first time homeowner and dealing with the insurance claim and paperwork was more than overwhelming to figure out for my wife and I, but Mark made the process simple explaining everything along the way, he also was by our side when the insurance adjuster come out. ARC has a great process, when Mark arrived to provide a quote, he clearly explained the options, laid out a plan of what we wanted, and executed what we agreed to in terms of the work. ARC was always on time and did exactly what was planned and promised. They were professional, answered any questions, and they did the work correctly the first time. The roofing crew did an awesome job and cleaned up afterward and followed up to see if I needed anything or if I had any concerns. They did a roof shingle replacement in one day as promised where many other roofing companies in the area took two or three days to complete then same project. There also did a great job on our gutters ARC earned an A+, they did a great job, and we were very happy with them. My wife and I give ARC our highest recommendation and are completely satisfied with the overall experience and worked done.

I had NO Leaks before their re-roof after a hail storm. They Created a leak in the flat loft ceiling & down the walls! It began immediately after each storm. I called Jeff for 2-3 years and he kept saying they came here to make repairs, but he never called or emailed to make an appt & I never heard ladders clanging or people walking or working on the roof - LIAR !! I am disabled mol & home 24/7, so I was always here & would have heard them. I had to tear out the ceiling, replace drywall and rotten black wood & replace that portion of the roof at my own expense.

Never ever ever ever use this company.  They replaced my roof after a hail storm and I had nothing but trouble after that.  Various leaks all over the house cost me thousands of dollars.  They would not honor their warranty or commitment.  Finally had the roof completely replaced by another company last year.  I can't believe this company is still in business.

DO NOT do business with this company unless you have a lot of spare time with with which to chase them down for commitments they make but do not keep.  Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing because they will make verbal promises that will not be delivered on.

I've dealt with a salesman Mike and the owner of the company, and both will tell you they'll call or have answers at a specific time and weeks will pass with no word or update.I had to h  ave the shingle roof of my home replaced after hail damage, along with the roof of my carport and corrugated fiberglass on a sun porch.  I went with ARC because they were the low bid.  Boy what a mistake.  They left the first time without repairing the carport roof or the sun porch.  Fortunately, the carport was on the scope of work so they had to come back and do the work, but the sun porch was a verbal commitment that was not honored.  Lesson learned.  Further,  they tried to charge me and extra $375 for a few sheets of plywood that had to be replaced on the carport.

Even worse, they billed $800 more dollars than the agreed price, which made them high bid rather than low bid.  The issue still is not settled as of 8/24/2011 because the owner was supposed to call me last week and failed to do so.

To add insult to injury, their supply company mistakenly delivered 2 pallets of roofing materials to my address, blocking my driveway, and it'st still sitting there after 3 days.  I have basically been told that its between me and the supply company.  UNBELIEVABLE.

The roof seems OK, but how it holds up remains to be seen.  This experience has been regrettable and incredibly frustrating.  The people who work for and run this company have absolutely no integrity, professionalism or understanding of basic customer service.  Stay away

This was a rather strange experience. My roof was leaking around the chimney and I contacted Alpine. They came out, looked at the roof and then told me they would fix it for free if I would just refer neighbors to them and pass out business cards if the opportunity arose. I agreed and they came out the next day and put caulk in a number of places around the chimney. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem and I had to have another company out after the next rain. Good effort, poor result.

The owner came out to do the quote. They were the same price as the other roofers 20 year roof quotes. The flat patio was self adhesive material, new on the market, whereas all the other roofers wanted to use flame sealed tar. (my brother-in law is a roofer up in IL, and he said all this was good). They were great about helping me pick out colors and materials. I needed to wait a week for the bank check to clear and they were great about that! The quote didn't include the turbines I requested, so he threw them in free.
