I've dealt with a salesman Mike and the owner of the company, and both will tell you they'll call or have answers at a specific time and weeks will pass with no word or update.I had to h ave the shingle roof of my home replaced after hail damage, along with the roof of my carport and corrugated fiberglass on a sun porch. I went with ARC because they were the low bid. Boy what a mistake. They left the first time without repairing the carport roof or the sun porch. Fortunately, the carport was on the scope of work so they had to come back and do the work, but the sun porch was a verbal commitment that was not honored. Lesson learned. Further, they tried to charge me and extra $375 for a few sheets of plywood that had to be replaced on the carport.
Even worse, they billed $800 more dollars than the agreed price, which made them high bid rather than low bid. The issue still is not settled as of 8/24/2011 because the owner was supposed to call me last week and failed to do so.
To add insult to injury, their supply company mistakenly delivered 2 pallets of roofing materials to my address, blocking my driveway, and it'st still sitting there after 3 days. I have basically been told that its between me and the supply company. UNBELIEVABLE.
The roof seems OK, but how it holds up remains to be seen. This experience has been regrettable and incredibly frustrating. The people who work for and run this company have absolutely no integrity, professionalism or understanding of basic customer service. Stay away
