The worst I have ever used. Damaged so many items.

Avoid at any cost. Two Tattooed yahoo guys show up. Moved everything so carelessly. At the destination they were supposed to move stuff to the 2nd floor (as agreed) but left in the garage in a hurry. The next day when we checked many of the things were broken. This company doesn't even have a van with a logo. Very dissatisfied.

Janice at Alpha was very helpful when I was researching a moving company to implement in our home move. She was good about responding to my emails quickly. First thing I liked was the actual estimate on a 4/3 home to a 4/3 home less than a mile from each other. Moving day arrives and we’d already gotten rid of one bedroom and quite a few household items on our own since location was so close. We were hoping to get the move over with sooner rather than later. Estimate included 2-men, 1 truck, 4 hours; which we thought was plenty; since again we moved SO much of our own things. Movers called and arrived 2 and frac12; hrs late. They added an additional mover for our inconvenience. Started with 3 movers, but an additional mover (supervisor) assisted throughout whole process. The whole move time wise took 8 hrs, 2 trips, and the cost was nowhere near the quoted estimate. The entire time we made about 10 trips in our own vehicles to speed up the process. Not sure why the move w/4 men…no fridge or 4th bedroom took so long, but we were not happy w/the service, time, or price. After everything we learned they took our tiles from our patio table and returned a week later on our porch with no nothing attached. NO response from Janice when I called to complain. And no Angie’s discounts applied.

I would not recommend Alpha Moving.

Janice at Alpha was very good at communication prior to the move. She offered a couple of discounts, which was nice. Also, she was good about responding to my emails quickly. All rates and fees were disclosed up front. On the day of the move, Movers arrived at the very end of their estimated arrival window. Started with 3 movers, but an additional mover arrived later to assist which helped to speed up the process. They moved fairly quickly, but really picked up the pace once the last mover arrived. There was some miscommunication about the costs, and some discounts were not applied at first. However, we were able to straighten this out after some discussion. The move went over time and price from original quote, which was not a nice surprise. However, with all of the boxes and large furniture, I believe we would still use Alpha again. Janice had told me she would call after the move to follow up, however I have yet to receive a call. If there had been a serious issue, this might be a concern. However, since there were no outstanding issues, this is not a problem.

Was an excellent move without worry or stress. These guys did it right, and is the second time I have used them.

They were professional and on time. They had enough people to complete the work in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

They came a few hours later than they said they would. The 2 men that came were very polite, though. We had some large furniture to move. They were unable to move a large TV stand. They gouged the walls in a couple spots. They said they would come back later that evening with some more help to get the TV stand moved. They never showed back up! They never returned our calls or messages. We had the furniture sitting in our foyer for about week before another company was able to come move it.

There was a problem with their arrival time. We scheduled them to arrive at 5 PM. They called at 10:30 AM saying they had completed a job early and were on their way to our location. Unfortunately we were packing at a pace to be ready for their 5 PM arrival time and were not ready to load the truck at 10:30 AM. At 5 PM I called to see when we could expect their arrival and was told that our job had to be passed off to another truck and that that truck was in North Dallas and could not make it to our location until about 6:30 PM. The truck arrived about 7:15, and the two men began loading the truck. The storage where we were going closes at 10 PM so I had to get the owner of the storage to come and open up the storage for us because we were late. Also as they were loading our items, one of the men continually talked about being tipped. Saying things like "we get a small salary and we work mostly for tips and we're going to take very good care of you", etc., etc.

I did not like their service. They did not come on time. A few things were broken and they did not respond to it. The service was not up to mark. They also subcontracted the work.

The service was excellent. They returned our phone calls and kept us informed throughout the process. The communication was very good. The price was also half than what another provider quoted. Also, they performed the work by the hour. The workers were very fast and efficient which is unusual.

The service was okay. They had some vehicle problems and the equipment was worn down. Overall, they did a good job. I have no complaints with the men who did the work.

The service was fine. However, they were late. They were supposed to get here at about one in the afternoon but did not show until about seven that night. I was annoyed. I tried to call and the office but it was closed. I thought they forgot me because I could not get anyone to confirm the appointment. They finally called me when they were on the way but they did not notify me sooner.

Tommy and Many were on time and continued to work under the job was done.

These guys were one of the many companies that called me when I entered a request to have a mover quote my move. I like the person I spoke with. They seemed honest and educated about moving. The rate was close to everyone else, and they had some decent reviews. I hired them. They showed up and moved my stuff without any problems. The rate I was quoted was pretty close to the end result. The guys were nice to spend the afternoon with. All and all, I would recommend their services. I have heard several people tell me about horrible moving companies they used, but these guys did me a solid.

They came, loaded our belongings, gave me free storage for a month. In the mean time they set me up with an apartment locator and offered me a job. All around great experience.

Micky, the estimator, was professional and very friendly, and seemed to understand completely of what went on and what I was looking for. I am an artisan photographer. I needed professionals to be able to move my art as well as my personal items. The on site process went very well. They said they would be there from 7-9, and they were there at 7:50. Corey seemed professional and organized, and his workers seemed to be polite and professional as well. Some of my art needed to be wrapped and protected but not boxed, others would need to be boxed. None of it was wrapped with paper or put in boxes the way I expected. They wrapped very few pieces , but only with their padding. The majority was not wrapped at all. They also dropped boxes several times. The art they did wrap was not wrapped to be protected in storage. This was not what we had explained and gone over. Because they did not protect the art the way I expected, it's been scratched and damaged. The cost was more than what I expected to pay, so I was forced to put the remainder on a credit card. The pieces I instructed were loaded into gondolas, but they were not protected. They were smashed into gondolas with no spacers in between. This was personal art that I had planned to sell that is now damaged. I won't be able to sell it now. In their defense, I was sick and unable to pack as much as I wanted to. There was also an entire cabinet of pots and pans that were not packed, which I would have missed had I not double checked. They also left an entire piece of art behind. They even left drink cups and trash in the front area when they had finished the move. I did also politely ask them to move faster, and they mentioned that they were breaking their back. It was jovial attitude, but I still did not appreciate the comment at the time.

Easy and efficient.

Office (Allison) rep helped adjust pickup to accommodate my schedule. Movers arrived 30 min later than expected, but were excellent throughout. Thank you to Barry and Kevin and Allison and Janet.

Excellent service! Very good price for work performed.

The movers were on time, professional and time effective. They handled our furniture with care. Delivery was speedy and prompt. They unloaded everything in the specified rooms and did great service.

Friendly hard working movers got us done quickly. Provided great care moving down 2 heights of start with our furniture.

w
