"We’re very sorry that you’ve had a bad experience with us and we strive to make sure our customers are pleased with our work. Natural stone has variations in hue and tone within slabs and can make exact color matching impossible. It’s not reasonable to expect a naturally variable product like marble will be the same across a kitchen, that’s part of the charm of natural stone. Our disclaimer about the variable nature of stone isn’t for us to hide behind, it’s to guide expectations about how natural stone will appear once it’s installed. We’ve tried to address your concerns in person and have worked with your builder to rectify the situation, but it’s unfortunate that our efforts haven’t satisfied you. Our process is open and all about giving options to families building their dream home. After reviewing the work, both Our Country Homes and Allied Stone feel that the marble in your secondary kitchenette falls within normal variation and produces no undesired effect. The coloration of your slab is similar to hundreds of others and is very typical of this manner of installation. We fabricate and install thousands of kitchens across the state of Texas every month and strive for excellence in every single one. In this situation, we stand behind the builder and our own work. Our Country Homes and Allied Stone are partners in crafting great homes in the area and count many satisfied homeowners as our legacy. We are saddened if your expectations of the marble were not in line with the reality of natural materials."
The installation was delayed by a couple of days only because of the icy weather we had in December. The installers took time to place the granite tops precisely and made sure the sink and the cooktop fit well. They worked at the same pace from start to finish, never hurried at any point, even as the day wore on and made sure the undermount sink was well installed.
I will recommend Jason and Allied Stone at any time.
"Thank you for your business and continued support of Allied Stone. We are pleased we were able to meet your expectations and provide you with quality service and material. Our highly skilled crews are trained to deliver the best workmanship and professionalism possible, and we are delighted to hear about your positive experience. Thank you, again."
"Your experience is very important to us. We value our customer’s opinions and use the feedback to make improvements where necessary. The miss-communication with your color selection is regrettable and is an issue that could have been avoided. We are pleased that you are satisfied with the end result and that you got the color you wanted. Please keep us in mind for future renovations for we would love the opportunity to work with you again and exceed your expectations."
Upon arrival they laid quilted movers blankets on all the tile floors where they would be working. The removed the top drawers of the cabinets and carefully laid them on a quilt on the living room floor. I was warned that my cabinets would be dinged and dust would cover everything we own. Not true! They were very careful with the cabinets. Not a single ding. I had put all of my dishes, pots and pans, glasses, etc. in the cabinets and sat back to see what would happen. Jason Jones has assured me I would be just fine and I took him as his word. He was right and the horror stories from well meaning friends were wrong.
