badly.  they were 1 1/2 hours late.  Ran out of gas between the two houses, which are only 2 miles apart.  I smelled alcohol on the owners breath. It took 8 hours.  Worst moving experience I've ever had. I've used AB Moving twice in the past, really regret not using them this time.

It ended up going okay. Really honestly I wasn't that happy about it. We had a custom home that was built and when you build a custom home you have one set of closing date and then they push it back because something wasn't ready and they push it back again because something else wasn't ready. From the beginning, when I initially called them I explained my situation to the manager. I told him when I purchased it I knew we weren't moving til like a few months out if not longer. I asked him how much of a notice do we have to give him and I also explained to him that our situation. where we were moving from and where we were moving to. I also explained to him how big of a house we were moving from to the big of the house we were moving to. I already knew the things I would need him to put together because the new furniture the company who was delivering the furniture was going to install. Basically, a few of the pieces of the furniture that we were moving from the old home that they would take down  What we took down wanted to get the price in order for them to get ig back together once we got there. I went into detail, all in all, and I know the price wouldn't be 100% on the mark but he explained to me that I would have to purchase two coupons for what I would need. I made sure when I purchased, I purchased two coupons. When the time came, two times I ended up having to change the date because the house wasn't ready. They hadn't finished putting the finishing touches. So they gave us one closing date and I called the movers a few days to a week ahead of time to tell them they were changing it. The second time, we had to change it and the third time, we actually ended up moving. Once we ended up moving, everything went according to the way that I told them it was going to go. Then once they got there and they had to put things together, which is the same thing I explained to him that I needed him to put together. He ended up charging me extra for changing the date. He ended up charging me extra for putting the things together. On top of that, a $350 art picture we never did find. Then when I called him once I realized that the picture was missing because the home we were moving from it's still our property. We didn't have anyone to move into that property until February 2012. My husband and I, before we went and repurchased the picture, we searched up and down that house for the picture, which we knew it was in the garage. We ended up unpacking everything from the new house. I called them the next day when I noticed the picture was missing and he told they didn't have the picture. If it's not in the home that we still to this day still have that property, we never did find it there and it never did show up in our new home, where did the picture go? So we ended up having to purchase another $350 picture for my husband's game room on top of us being charged another additional $400 for he said changing the date twice and for putting all the furniture together. So I was out almost another grand and I wasn't too happy about it.

All Professional Moving did a good job.  After spending over 20 years in the military, I know what it's like moving households.  I've had better movers, but I've had plenty of movers who were far worse. 

Plusses -- nothing was stolen, nothing major was broken, the price was great.

Minus -- didn't do a good job protecting the carpets.  Many movers will put down carpet runners in the high traffic areas to protect the carpets.  All Pro did not.  As a result, the carpets got extremely dirty in those areas.

The move was not pleasant, but at least they showed up.  Delays, delays, broken and missing items were some of the issues we had to deal with.  They do not have the workforce or experience to deal with the Big Deal they sold with AL.  We ended up paying them a fair price nonetheless and regretted it later when we found broken and missing items.  More than anything is the added stress on top of moving. 

This was my first experience using a provider from Angie's List, and frankly, I don't see the benefits of AL.  This was as much AL's fault as it was APM's fault, in my opinion.

It went well.  There was one broken item.  My office chair.  It was a very nice chair I had purchased from a Office Furniture Company, very nice and costly.  Greg, the owner, came back days after the move when I told him about the chair.  My husband was going to throw it away and said it was not able to be fixed.  Greg worked on the chair about 20 minutes and fixed the chair.  I think that shows the dedication of the company, All Professional Moving and its owner, to leave the customer satisfied.  They did that for us.

Overall, the move went very, very well.  I am highly satisfied with the services provided.  Greg and his two employees did an excellent job moving our large house quickly, efficiently, safely, and with no damage to our property.  There was one minor blip on timing, as the original move date was for Thursday the 3rd of November and there was a mix-up and he thought the move date was Friday the 4th.  However, Greg was willing to work out a moving crew that day on an emergency basis.  Instead, I elected to have him come out on the 4th as I needed more time.  Although he did not have to, he gave me a price break as a result.  In addition, he was very flexible on price negotiations once he saw that the move job was bigger than he had anticipated.  Overall, I felt that he treated the situation fairly and professionally.  Most importantly, Greg was highly communicative, which was very important to me.  The actual move was smooth, professional, and very friendly.  I would *definitely* call All Professional again for my next move and wouldn't even look at another mover.

Greg and his crew were extremely courteous and professional.  They started immediately upon arrival and didn't slow down until the job was finished.  Although they moved everything very quickly, they were very careful and deliberate.  The delivery went at smoothly as the pickup ...even faster.  All our belongings arrived with no damage.  Thanks Greg, to you and your crew!

I recently got married and my husband was scheduled to move from his apartment to my house on 10/2/11.  We hired All Professional Movers, operated by Greg Gutermuth, through Angie’s List and purchased 2 coupons at $299 each ($498 total), which entitled us to 8 hours of moving.  In my phone conversation with Mr. Gutermuth, he said he would charge us for 1 hour of driving time and that would leave 7 hours of move time.  He felt his guys could get the job done within the 7 hour time limit and there would be no additional charge if they had to make 2 trips.  I also told him we would be disconnecting my husband’s washer/dryer from his apartment and reconnected the washer at my house.  Mr. Gutermuth said that wouldn’t be a problem  and he said if his men went over the 7 hours already purchased, he would only charge us $60/hour thereafter.  I explained we were in the process of selling my house and he was eager to make us a deal so he could help us with the move to our new house.  The moving team was scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. on 10/2/11.  The lead mover called at approximately 8:30 to let us know they were running about an hour late.  The 3 movers arrived and began the job at approximately 10 a.m.  We provided the movers with pizza for lunch, at which time they took a 30 minute break.  The movers ended up making 2 trips between our houses.  On the last trip, the mover disconnected my husband’s washer from his apartment and a pipe broke.  While he scrambled to find the shut-off valve, my husband’s downstairs neighbor’s apartment was being flooded.  This further prolonged the move and the time it took to complete the job.  At this point, I had left to go to church and my husband was overseeing the move.  He called me and I came home immediately.  On my way home, I called Mr. Gutermuth to tell him what had happened.  He began cursing at me and said he would meet me at my house.  When I arrived, at approximately 6:20, the moving team was done unloading their truck and they were waiting for me.  Mr. Gutermuth had just arrived and he was cursing again, this time to both me and my husband, and he smelled of alcohol.  He told me we owed him $157.50 for 1 ½ hours of additional move time.  While my husband and I didn’t agree with him, we paid him; he was threatening and we wanted him to leave our home.  Mr. Gutermuth agreed to meet us at 10 a.m. the following day at the apartment complex to inspect the damage done by his movers.   The next day Mr. Gutermuth did not show up so I put a stop-payment on the check for $157.50 and I called Angie’s List to file a complaint.  On 10/4/11 Mr. Gutermuth left a very unprofessional voicemail on my cell phone related to the complaint I filed with Angie’s List.  On 10/13/11 Mr. Gutermuth was notified of the stop-payment and he left another threatening voicemails on my cell phone telling me that he had retained 3 of our boxes without our knowledge at the time of the move although we had paid him in full.  He also said he would file a lien against us and that when he was ‘done,’ we would owe him even more money.  At the recommendation of the Angie’s List complaint resolution specialist, we were advised to file a police report for the items that were retained by Mr. Gutermuth.  Unfortunately, the police would not take a report and said it was a civil matter.  We advised Mr. Gutermuth of this action and he said he would see us in court.  To date, he has not returned the 3 boxes he says he retained. Below is an itemization of the expenses we've incurred as a result the damage caused by the movers:       $  28.00 - Stop payment on check #1155 $  34.19 - Additional day of rent due to damage caused by moving company $  97.43 - Water damage expenses in downstairs apartment $  21.34 - Monthly liability insurance premium (unable to cancel renter's insurance due to damage caused by movers) $339.63 - Missed day of work (10/3/11) for Diane Jeffries due to damage caused by movers $300.00 - 3 boxes retained by Mr. Gutermuth (since we do not know exactly what was in these boxes, we are estimating $100/box) The total loss we have incurred as a result of the moving company's damage to the water pipe is $820.59 and we would like to be refunded by All Professional Moving for this amount and we would like our 3 boxes returned to us.  We  would also like for Angie’s List to review the voicemails we received and determine if they warrant further follow-up by Angie’s List.  Finally as suggested by Angie’s List, we attempted to file a police report , but were told this is a civil matter.  According to the police officer, it does not matter that we had paid Mr. Gutermuth in full at the time he retained our 3 boxes. While I find Mr. Gutermuth's voicemails very concerning, particularly since he knows where we live, we want to move forward with this complaint so others are not adversely impacted by this company as we have been.  We are hopeful Angie's List can provide us more assistance than the police in this matter.

Member you were only out of pocket a total of 651.00 dollars. That is an incredible deal for the situation you were in. You cancelled the 153.00 dollar check which i was responsible for. You were given three extra men for labor so my company wouldnt be on your move for 20 hrs. Diane come on now. I wish you the best and hope things go well for you and your new husband that we moved all his belongings into your garage. I really hope this can be resolved in a pleasant manner and lets just move forward with our lives. Greg and company did an outstanding job moving me out of my old and in to my new home. This move was spread out over a couple weeks due to closing issues. Greg completely worked around our schedule to get the job done. I really appreciated the level of concern taken to keep all furniture free from damage. The same level of concern was taken to ensure none of the walls in either home got scratched or marked. I know exactly who to call or recommend in the future for moving needs.

From the quote to the actual move, communication was upfront and everything went very smoothly. We booked about 4-6 weeks in advance. The move was on a Sunday and was suppose to start at 9:00.  They were running late and called me to let me know.  And honestly, that was the worst thing that happened.  They were late (2 hours) , but they did keep me posted so I wasn't anxious wondering where they were...  And once they got there it was the smoothest move I've made, even with the number of stops along the way.  They guys that were doing the move were very helpful, worked really hard and got everything into the rooms I wanted. I was really pleased with the service that was provided and would use them again if I move again...  Which I hope is not time soon...

I bought a china cabinet at an estate sale and needed to find someone to move it within one day.  I called Greg on Saturday morning and he immediately answered the phone although he was in the middle of another move.  He was not able to do my move on Saturday but said he would be happy to do it on Sunday.  He met me at the estate sale and actually arrived before I did.  He and Steven wrapped my china cabinet and loaded it with great care.  Once we arrived at my home they quickly unloaded it and put it back together for me.  Greg even went out of his way and repaired a few scratches on the cabinet although they were already there when I bought it.  It was great working with Greg and I will definitely use him again.

The movers were extremely punctual for driving such a long way. They all were very friendly and wanted to get the job done right so they constantly checked to make sure I was pleased. They loaded up all the furniture and boxes quickly and dropped it all off after a 7-8 hour drive. The owner seems more than willing to work through any special problems that might be associated with your move.

Greg answered my call promptly after I left him a message, the same day that I purchased the Big Deal that brought my attention to his business. Greg made an appointment and came out to my home the day after to let me know if the $249 Big Deal would cover my move. He was prompt and friendly and professional. He told me that if our move took over four hours, which is what the Big Deal covered, he would charge me $60 an hour with a maximum of 2 hours. He and his crew also agreed to start the morning by picking up some items of furniture that were at my parent's house about 7 miles away from my house, and he only added $25 to the total charge for the extra stop, which was awesome. He and his crew arrived on time, were totally professional, and worked ALL DAY, for over EIGHT HOURS, moving our things as carefully as if they were their own belongings. As stated in our agreement, Greg collected $145 at the end of the day for the two hour overage and the extra trip fee, even though they worked a lot longer than that. It was really, really, hot and the crew had returned from a move that had them in I believe it was Austin the night before, and they were going on very little sleep after a long drive. They might not have been moving at lightning speed, but they were professional, careful, and very friendly. I have had three absolute nightmare moves, and Greg was a dream. I am going to talk about him to everyone that ever needs a TRUSTWORTHY mover and crew. What a total score it was to find this business...do yourself a favor and just book him. His prices are fair even without the Big Deal savings and you cannot put a price on integrity and a job well done. Moving is stressful enough without worrying about the movers themselves!

I would recommend All Professional Moving to anyone! Greg and crew were friendly, courteous, and professional from start to finish. Would use again!

We scheduled them 3 weeks in advance and were able to book our preferred moving day (Saturday at the end of the month).
They arrived on time and were ready to begin moving our stuff immediately.  We had Greg, the owner, and two college aged guys who all spoke English.  
During the move out, one apartment wall was slightly damaged.  Greg apologized to us and had one of his guys repair the wall.  He even offered to come back out to repaint it himself.  After everything was out, Greg did a final walkthrough and that decided he didn't like how his guy repaired the wall so took the initiative and personally re-did it - we hadn't said anything to him about it.
On move in, we discovered that my old computer desk had a leg break off in the truck (the desk is cheap and 10+ years old and made of particle board). Greg unexpectedly offered to pay me for the desk, and when I refused, he said he would try and repair it with some wood glue.  After everything was moved in, he repaired the leg to a usable state.  He didn't have to do that - we had signed a waiver that they were only responsible for up to 60 cents per pound for anything damaged.

We feel that Greg and crew went above and beyond in our move!

This was the best moving experience ever. Greg gave me an estimate of moving costs, made sure they didn't go over, delivered packing supplies, packed up the stuff for me I hadn't finished with, disassembled and reassembled furniture, put everything in place in new house all without even a scratch on anything! His team was so careful to protect everything on the move out and the move in!! I will recommend him to everyone!! Thanks Greg that was amazing. I never knew moving could be so stress free!

If you are looking for a mover look no further because Greg is your guy!  I have used Greg multiple times and he has saved me a great deal of money and time. First off all of Greg's movers speak English, This is a big deal because I have used moving companies in the past that would send movers to my house and I would not be able to communicate with them because I don't speak Spanish thus resulting in time wasted and a lot of back and forth phone calls to the moving companies operator :what a mess".  Greg is a stand up guy that wants to earn your respect and trust. He stands behind his work and he really cares about you. All of Greg's employees are very hard working and also take pride in doing a good honest job.I am very pleased to write this review and would invite anyone to email me if they have any questions about my experience with All Professional Movers.Have an Amazing Day
