+ 18 moreAkers construction company started the job in November 2009....after the deposit was given for a Downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroon, Master Bath and Kitchen Cabinet refinish. We finally had to fire Wesley Akers from the job. He started everything but the Master Bath and since March 2010, has failed to complete any of the projects as promised. After we fired him and asked for our deposit back he became very irate and violent. He then told me to ask my wife how I liked him bringing in a convicted "child Molester" in our house. He told me if I tried to sue him, call BBB or put anything negative about him online he would place a lien on my home. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN....or let him around your kids. His business partner called me to apologize about the convicted "Child Molester being in the home and tried to make things right, but we did not want them around our house. My wife is still losing sleep afraid this person will return to harras our daughters. He said he fired the convicted molester after he found out, but that was only after I told him I was going to the police.
Description of Work: Akers construction was hired to refinish our Kitchen cabinets. Remodel and downstairs bathroom and my daughters bathroom. He was then to remodel out master bath. After 5 LONG agonizing months (Nov 2009 to March 2010) we finally had to fire Akers Construction because wesley Akers the owner refused to do any work. Everything in our house is at 60% complete. Wesley Akers just kept asking for more "Draws" but would never show up to finish the work....what work is completed we have had to hire a new Contractor to repair and replace. Thank God we did not let him start our Master Bath!!!! Akers Construction is VER GOOD AT THE DEMO process and depositing checks. If you want it repaired right and with confidence hire someone else.
