Advanced Foundation Repair, LP

We have been in our current (and first ever) home for just over a year. After tons and tons of heavy rains this spring, hairline cracks and nail pops abounded. I, terrified and generally anxious anyway, assumed the worst: our foundation was in shambles and our house was obviously trying to fall into a sink hole. Fortunately, the previous owners had alerted us to foundation repairs and we were able to get the warranty transferred to us upon purchase of our home. I called foundation who worked with me to schedule an appointment. Carl Adams came out right on time. He explained what he was doing and how his machine worked to measure the level of my foundation. He explained to me the work that had been done previously, helped me identify foundation work that had been done by someone else (oh my gosh) and explained to me where to look with my city to see if a work permit had been filed on my property so I could figure out when those were done. He was not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, but was personal and kind in assuaging my greatest fears. My house is fine. He took the time to really explain things, he made notes of what other information to send me (real signs to look for, how to care for my foundation, etc.) I cannot emphasize how my anxiety I had been experiencing over what (thankfully) amounted to nothing. I sincerely appreciate the time and kindness and feel that he went beyond expectations to take a little extra time to teach me how to be a sane and competent home owner (at least when it comes to foundations!)

From start to finish this was an awesome job. In the process of buying my house, the inspector noticed the foundation had dropped. Clay McClintock with Arch Foundation was called to come out and assess the damage. He was prompt and gave a very fair estimate and explanation of what needed to be fixed. We set a date and it was completed in one day before I moved into the house. And, Rosa and the other girls in the office were extremely helpful.

Work was done very efficiently and completed in one day as promised. I am very happy that I chose Arch Foundation Repair to do the job on my home.

Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of the work performed by Arch Foundation. Clay was very good to work with and the crew was excellent - they showed up on time, took care to keep interior work areas clean, was polite\professional and work very hard to complete on schedule. As soon as they completed raising the house, doors closed with ease and we could tell a distinct difference in the leveling of the house. They were not the cheapest but the price was very competitive vs other bids and the quality was high. Working through a couple of items with their office\administrative staff was a challenge at times - I will spare the details but there was a moment where I felt like was stuck in the middle of an Abbott and Costello routine. I would give them an A overall except for this interaction.

They arrived on time and immediately began work. Finished in one day. Access required removing plants, boards from porch and digging a trench 3ft deep 20 ft long. They replanted plants, replaced boards and filled the trench. They did a great job.

Clay and the team at Arch Foundation were organized, professional, timely and kept their promises to be there on time and complete the work. The best thing about their work is that the company has been in business for at least 15 years. Their work guarantee includes a fund that will continue to pay for warranty repairs well into the future. That made a huge difference to me because I've heard nightmares about people having repairs done, needing warranty work, and then finding that the repairing company was out of business. Our warranty will transfer to the next owner, and they can be assured that they are getting a home in good repair. That's a win for everyone. Thank you, Arch Foundation!

This company is amazing and incredibly accomadating and understanding. They did work on my house prior to my purchasing it when the previous owner had foundation issues.  Arch's work is not only backed by a lifetime transferrable warranty but that warranty is backed by a trust so no matter what happens the work is always covered! That doesn't seem to be common practice in this business and was one of the reasons my husband and I felt comfortable moving forward with our home purchase.  We have recently had some concerns about the foundation and they have been so amazing working with us! We will continue to work with them for any future home/foundation needs. Fantastic company!

Johnny Nail was the Arch representative who gave me the first estimate. His estimate was the highest of the 4 estimates. I was going to go with another company but I talked to Johnny one evening and asked him a hundred questions. I felt so good after talking to him that I decided to go with Arch. They did a fantastic job! Oswaldo and his crew arrived on time, did the work they agreed to do and cleaned up after themselves. What seemed like a monumental task for me was made simple by Arch. They are the best. I felt comfortable with my decision from the beginning. Thank you to the ladies in the office, to Johnny and to the entire company - I'm forever in your debt.

I backed into using Arch by accident - the company I had used previously was bought out by Arch - but I was pleased with my experience. I've seen other companies come in, look around, maybe use a bubble level, and then send you a proposal. The Arch company rep came out and did a thorough structural analysis with an electronic height sensor and prepared an elevation contour map before making his recommendations and explaining them to you. Pricing seemed reasonable per pier. Price includes pre-and post engineer's reports, so you have an independent document for a buyer that the repair was done to spec. My house had some design complications but they were patient and worked with me to get things right. The job included jack hammering through outside concrete, but rather than slap any old concrete in there to patch the hole, they went to extra trouble to find concrete that matched best, and it came out matching the old concrete quite nicely. The workers did a very good job of cleaning up when they were done, and the foreman was accessible and happy to answer my questions while the pier work was going on. I would easily recommend Arch to others.

I had received 5 bids for all sorts of piers after hiring my own structural engineer. Arch came recommended by a good friend in the neighborhood who had also had extensive work done. I liked that they included a structural engineer's report afterward as I am planning to sell the house and wanted that and a transferable warranty. They lifted 3/4 of my house on the 5th of 5 days. I was impressed with the daily cleanup and how they approached the work. THey also bid steel piers versus concrete for a competitive price.
The team showed up as scheduled and VIcotr G ran the crew, which varied between 5 and 8 workers every day. They were all very nice and professional. I was happy to have them pull and pitch the landscaping that was in the way - most of it was overgrown anyway, although they would have replanted had I asked. They cleaned up daily.
They covered shelves etc inside for the internal digging, but it was still a dirty job as it was pretty much the whole interior of the house. They did work with me to save the entry hall tile. Cleaning up after is a chore even though I had moved out the furniture and pulled the carpeting and while they swept and had covered things, everything had a layer of dirt on it anyway.
I was amazed at the teamwork and focused effort on lift day when Antonio came over to supervise and direct the lifting itself. They worked with speed and precision. All my doors shut afterward (amazing) and most of the interior and exterior cracks closed up (although a couple new ones did appear on inside drywall).
Unfortunately, the post plumbing test has indicated there is now a leak in the sewer, undoubtedly a result of the major lift. this was a known risk with older plumbing and a part of the contract and unless it was negligence, Arch is not liable for plumbing repairs. The plumber called and came over the morning of the Tuesday after the Friday completion of foundation work.
Botton line, I think they Arch did a great job at a fair price and I would recommend them.

Everything Arch Foundation promised was delivered. The crew arrived on time and were careful to set up the work area so as to minimize damage to my landscape and my neighbor's (my home is a zero lot line garden home and we have common walls to consider). When I had concerns throughout the process, my team leader, Juan was polite, responsive and respectful. He addressed all of my concerns in that manner. I could not be more impressed. When the work was completed, they left very little of a trace that they had been there at all. (I have read some concerns about sheetrock damage in some of the other posts, but I was aware that when my foundation was finally level, some of the previous fixes would not be compatible to the corrected foundation level and that some buckling, cracking and such could be expected. Yes I had a few, but none were new ones). Parts of my home were moved up to 3 inches in places. It was amazing.
After the levelling, I had a post inspection to the plumbing. They also provided a post inspection by an engineer to double check the work was done correctly. Everything could not have gone any smoother, in my opinion. In fact, I was so impressed, I referred them to my neighbor (whose common wall is in my backyard) and I'm hoping they choose Arch to do their foundation, which needs work as well. I also posted on our HOA facebook page how great they were to work with.
If you are going to have to go through the agonizing decision to spend money on foundation repair, you cannot go wrong with these folks. They are honest, hard working, and committed. Just what you'd want in a company who is working on your most valuable asset, which for most of us is what our homes represent.

The work went exactly as I was told it would. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They responded well to my
concerns about the sprinkler system and they protected the walls and woodwork in the area of the interior pier installation.
I can't think of how it could have gone any easier, well I can too, but that would include us getting a free cruise ship trip thrown in
and returning to find the work all completed. Dream on.
It was all handled very well from the initial inspection/estimate, to the prompt responsive emails with the office, to the informative company website.
It also didn't hurt that my Angie's list independent engineer had Arch Foundation on his recommendation list. I'm pleased.
