Buyers Beware!!!! They committed the job would take 4-5 days and it took over 4 weeks to complete the job, and it’s still not done. They had crews walk off the job, and were incredibly unresponsive for days at a time. They literally took zero accountability (in the form of any discount to us) other than saying they were sorry for all the hassles to us, danger to our community as our pool was left open with no temporary fencing, and all three of our neighbors yards were impacted for over three of the four weeks as they didn’t fulfill their 4-5 day commitment. The fact that they had to send three different crews to finish the job is telling.......as the first crew walked off the job and the last one had to come in to fix what earlier crews screwed up. They still haven’t fixed the big gate they built.....as it is supposed to have adjustable hinges and they are already adjusted all the way out...so the job still hasn’t effectively been finished and now they want the last 15% of their fee and are threatening to put a lien on our house if we don’t pay. Stay as far away from this company as you can as they don’t deserve to be in business with how they operate and have treated us.

Subcontracted most of work and it was a mess to deal with. Took 2 weeks instead of 2-3 days . Final quality good because of Paul our salesman and Brittany the coordinator. Paul kept his word as best he could to complete the job as promised. Thank you Paul, for all YOUR hard work.

Everything was great!  Workers showed up on time, very professional and polite.  They got straight to work and even finished up in the rain.  I will definitely call this company again for my fencing needs.

The workers were excellent. We had some problems with some of the neighbors and the workers were very professional in their response. One neighbor complained that the new side yard fence was off-line - it ended up being 3 inches off a straight line from corner post to end of fence line. The sales rep came back out and agreed to fix the problem. The newly-set fence posts were pulled up and re-positioned to correct the fence line and to satisfy the neighbor. Very professional the whole time.
The quality issue is showing after 2 years. Unfortunately, the boards have shrunk slightly and we're starting to see daylight through the board-on-board fence (I would expect to see a little daylight on a side-by-side fence, but not with the overlapping boards). We bought the #2 quality boards (vs. the much more expensive #1 or the much cheaper lower-quality boards), thinking they would be fine. I'm not sure that the shrinkage would be any different if we had paid more for the boards, since we were told that the only difference was in the number of knots (or lack thereof on the more expensive wood).

I haven't contacted Action about the problems because, after 2 years, there's likely nothing that can be done that wouldn't cost $$. So we will leave the fence as-is. I wish I could recommend them, as the sales rep and the workers were really excellent, even in somewhat difficult circumstances. The quality of the fence, unfortunately, hasn't measured up over time as we had hoped.

Aside from the lack of communication from the front office, the job went very well, and their crew built a beautiful, sturdy cedar fence that I am sure will last for years to come. I can't thank the crew enough for the hard work they put in to this fence. While they started late morning or early afternoon, they worked through the day, with few breaks. Had some rain off and on during the construction, which slowed things down a bit.
There was a day, where the crew was not coming out in the middle of the project, and there was no communication from the office. I had to call to find out that they were not coming, which was kind of aggravating.
Overall, they are informative, office staff is friendly, and can answer all of your questions. They built a beautiful fence for me, and I couldn't ask for more than that. Thanks for the great job Action Fence!

After obtaining three estimates total, we chose 'Action' (Steve). He was prompt and professional with the estimate. We needed the fence repaired in a relatively short period of time, about 10 days. Even though it rained a couple of days, the work was completed in a timely manner. The crew(s) were punctual and cleared all debris. Steve made the entire process relatively painless and he was responsive to our questions, etc. We were happy with the quality of the work performed.

It was excellent. They were prompt, courteous, the men worked very hard. I was very pleased over all.

One of the work men was fired for doing shoddy work. They used old boards and did not replace one of the main poles, and the fence was blown down into the neighbors' yard after a storm came through. The owner said he would come out and take a look at it. We went out and took pictures of the fence after they were done and pointed out areas that needed to be repaired. They came out and repaired the areas but did not replace the pole.

There service is outstanding!

Did just what they said they do. In time they said.

Starting from my first call, to Anthony coming out to give me an estimate, to the service crew that performed the service, and finally when the owner called to make sure that I am satisfied before collecting the payment--went smoothly. Action Fence and Deck provided excellent service, and I plan on using them again in the future, and also recommending them to my friends and family.
