Price: expensive. Technician: professional, efficient, but careless on protecting landscape near window. Business practice: ACME provided misleading information, and not take responsibility for it. The Production Control Manager, Kristen, texted and emailed me saying that the replacing glass, type 5527, is "closer match" to my old glass. It turns out that ACME installed the glass with yellow tint. It is not even close to my old clear glass. Kristen tried to give non-sense explanations such as reflection of blue sky, reflection of the brown brick. Below is the photo of my window with the new glass installed by ACME on the top portion. The bottom portion has the original clear glass. It's clearly that new glass is not any close to the orig glass. ACME did not tell me the new glass is this yellowish.

We love our tinted windows! Our family room stays cooler, and the glare from the afternoon sun is much better.

They were outstanding!  Ten of my double-paned windows had fog in between them.  Two were completely broken and two were cracked.  Breck and two other workers came out at the scheduled time.  They took out the each entire window, cleaned and fixed it, then reglued them.  They cleaned up and left no debris.  One of the windows needed to be re-measured a second time, due to our home settling into the ground.  They had no problem coming out a second time.  They were wonderful.  We had no issues.  They were incredibly kind and very reasonably priced.  I couldn't be more pleased with this service and I want to share them with others!!

During the installation process holes were drilled into the sill area of the new windows to allow for security system wires. What I found out after the fact was the holes were drilled into an area designed to collect water and drain it out the weep holes. I now have 21 windows that leak. The owner of the company has known about the problem since November 8, 2010. It is now January 6, 2011. I will have to replace the windows at my own expense. I do not recommend this company. Customer service does not seem to be a concern for the owner.

As of 3/20/2012 the owner has agreed to reimburse my costs for the damages to the windows.
