Steve did a great job. He was on time, and got all of the jobs completed in an efficient and timely manner. He was not excessively talkative, but he was very responsive and helpful in answering my wife's questions. The price was more than reasonable. I intend to use Ace again, and will most certainly ask for Steve.

Chris arrived on time and left when finished. (about 3 and 1/2 hours) He was sheduled to work 4 hours. His work was good and cleanup was ok.. $100.00 an hour plus supplies and tax is expensive for handyman work.

We hired Handyman Matters of Dallas to fix a few things around the house, including to replace weather stripping on some outside doors, adjust the lock on the front door, and fix a leaky faucet. Saulo arrived to do all of this on time and upfront told me he wouldn't be able to fix the leaky faucet in the time my appointment was scheduled for. He then proceeded to fix the lock on our front door and replace some weather stripping. Unfortunately, after he left, I realized that the new weather stripping made the door impossible to open! I suppose he hadn't tried opening the door after putting it back on its hinges. I called and got another service appointment for the next day, to fix that and to fix another door I had forgotten. Steven arrived right on time and had everything fixed quickly! Overall, this company did exactly what we needed and was quick and professional.

The door was installed, new trim was added, the door knob and dead bolt were installed and the door was painted in timely fashion with no problems.

Chris called and offered to come an hour early. He was very efficient and finished all my tasks in a little over an hour and a half, including a materials trip to Home Depot. He put a new dead bolt lock on my back door, fixed the dead bolt on my front door that would not close properly due to foundation shift, straightened some french doors that would not close properly, and unjammed the latch on my sliding glass balcony door. He also cat-proofed the latches on some kitchen cabinet doors.The charge was quite reasonable and I am very, very pleased. I absolutely will hire them again.

The job started off great. He installed my door. Then he left to pick up materials. I clearly communicated the job and took pictures to show what materials were needed the prior week. During our conversations, I was told the materials would be $100. Turns out, they not only up-charge their materials 100%, but they also charge for the hour of their time to pick up the materials. All in all, the materials that should've cost $45, ended up costing me $195. I went to home depot the day before and if they clearly communicated to me, I would've just picked it up. The work wasn't performed to my satisfaction. The cuts for the door trim were sloppy. He had trouble figuring out the shutters. One is bowed, because it wasn't installed well. Should've done the work myself. It would've looked the same.
