AC GLASS OF DALLAS

Wow.  First of all ... great communication.  Second ... their estimate beat my other estimate by almost 50%.  I had an outdated brass framed glass master shower that needed to be updated.  Abraham and his assistant came by at the appointed time, sketched out the layout and gave me an estimate.  I was pleasantly surprised with the estimate and gave them a check for 50% down.  One week later, on the agreed upon date, Abraham and his assistant returned with the glass, installed it, and cleaned up after themselves.  Now I have a beautiful, frameless glass shower with oil rubbed bronze hardware that looks fantastic.  I would highly recommend Abraham and AC Glass.  Everything about this experience was pleasant.

Company was easy to communicate with via email.  I sent pictures and measurements for a rough estimate.  They came out for a detailed measure and came back with the same price as initially discussed.
The process was faster than I imagined.  They were out on a Friday and I approved the custom glass order that evening.  The glass was scheduled to be delivered the next Friday mid-day and they scheduled time after luch to do the install.
The tech and assistant were both exceptional.  They were quick and respectful of our home.  They discussed options and provided suggestions based on out bathroom layout..
The entire process took about a week and the install was a few hours.  We had to wait two days to let the materials set.  Once we did use the shower, there was an immediate clog in the drain.  I contacted them to inform and request assistance but they said it couldnt have been them and said they saw hair in the shower and had something on their shoe when they left.  All I know is that the drain worked perfectly before they installed the shower and would not drain at all the first time I turned on water.  I was able to clear the drain...  luckily I had a drain snake from 15 years ago and it did the trick.   I hope the drain remains in working order but its fine after a few uses.
Overall the process and results were great.  Without the "hickup" of the drain I wouldnt have anything to complain about.  I woudl certainly recommend them to friends and neighbors with the warning of our drain issue.
(One tip...  We did have a little water leakage from the bottom of the frameless door when water happened to be sprayed in the direction of the door base.  It appears to be coming from the grout groove where the seal is not as good as where the seal meets the tile.  They agreed to come look and fix it but with the seal perfect at the tile, Id rather not mess with the minimal leakage since it does not happen every time.  Nothign I think they did wrong, just the nature of the seal.)

We re-tiled our bath top to bottom. As soon as enough of the new tile was set in the shower area, AC Glass came to measure, and informed 2 of the set tiles needed to be repositioned. My tiler did it. The tiling was complete just when AC Glass was scheduled to install. But they notified me the glass had arrived scratched. They re-ordered it and re-scheduled the installation.
When it was ready, AC Glass delivered the new shower, but could not install, because all the bull-nose tiles were installed wrong. When I told this to my tiler, he quit. I removed and installed the tiles, myself, per AC Glass' directive. The next time AC Glass came, they informed it looked great, and finally installed my new shower.
The installers were consistently late for the appointments. But otherwise they were professional and a pleasure to work with. And, the work was flawless. The shower is beautiful. I couldn't be happier.
