Dr. Allison Merrill is a terrific vet. Very knowledgeable and personable. We love her. I was impressed that when we brought our dog in for the initial consultation she sat on the floor with him the whole time and observed him carefully. Had many suggestions for better care of our senior bassett hound. Seems to love animals and love her work.

I discovered Drs. Merrill and Kitz in February 2009 when I adopted my first dog and have been very pleased with every aspect of the practice. They are associated with Hillside (on Mockingbird) where I board my dogs on the rare occassion I have to board them. Dr. Merrill was carefully selected to open this office, I usually see her. Dr. Kitz was on duty that day and quickly referred me to a neurosurgeon. She and the staff were very attentive and answered all my questions and made sure my dog was comfortable. This would have been fantastic as it was, but due to traveling, I was not able to see the surgeon the next day. When Dr. Kitz found out I could not see the surgeon that day, she sent one of the associates, Joey to my home with medication (as the family member sitting with my dog that day does not drive). There are hundreds of well qualified vets in this town, but you will not find a better practice for your pets!

I have had good care for my animals there. The staff is very helpful and congenial, and the office is always nice and clean. I like them, but they are expensive. I believe that prices across the veterinary field are high these days and that veterinarians, in general, would not provide a particular service unless a bunch of tests are done. I would recommend them definitely as an alternative. I would use them in the future for some things but not for others.

I had compared prices with my sister and found that this vet is a lot more inexpensive. The actual lab is really clean and modern and Doctor Allison Merrill is really fantastic.

The people there are very nice. The medicine he gave me for a couple days really helped with the nervousness thing. The vet and staff are really good. The place is very clean and organized. I thought the cost involved was fair.
