U Need Gutters & More

I had initially planned on writing a good review, as the contractor seemed to want to help me, did help me (initially), and promised to come out for any warranty issues. Upon the first rain, however, I noticed a leak. I texted about the leak and included a picture of the problem that was creating the leak. He came out and placed some sealant in the general vicinity, but sealant was not the issue and was not placed in the right spot anyway. I tried to get him to come out again and sent pictures again upon his request, but he made no plans to come out and make the correction. I tried a few different times and ways to contact him after that but would not get a response. It's unfortunate. I made the correction myself, and upon getting up there to do it, I found some other shoddy work that I also had to correct. I'm thankful that a larger problem was resolved by the work he did, but his workmanship and service was not as good as he had claimed.

Tony was very prompt and courteous.. Did a great job cleaning and repairing, left everything clean.. Very satisfied.. Would definitely hire again.

In the beginning there was a miscommunication but at the end of the day they performed a phenomenal job!! They know what they are doing.

Great people and work hard. Install went good until it rained and there were a few leaks in the seams of the gutters. Had to come out twice to fix but they got the job done right. I would recommend.

It went extremely well. Tony was very quick to schedule a visit for the estimate and arrived right on time. I liked the fact that he will do more than just gutters as I needed them painted also as well as a fence.
The crew arrived right on time and worked very professionally. I was very impressed with the paint job on the gutters (perfectly matched them trim) and the paint on the fence (needed lots of sanding which they did!).

Stop and read this now.  This company, and the owner, Ken, is absolutely one of the best choices I've ever made.  I went on Angie's List to look for a new exterminator after moving to a new house in Cypress.  I have been fed up with large pest control companies for years because their customer service is horrible (to say it nicely).  As I looked at the list of endless pest control companies, I noticed this small company with no reviews so I called and spoke to the owner.  I told him I'd give him a chance and laid out my complaints with past experiences.  Ken has been the exception to the rule since I've started using him.  He has blown away the competion as far as I'm concerned. He's a personable guy who provides advice on how best to keep the bugs away.  If you need a good exterminator or are tired of your big, anti-customer service monopoly, then call Ken.  And no, I never knew him before this experience.

I  was very pleased with the overall work and will call them again if I need any sort of repairs to my older gutters.

I asked Tony if I needed screen protectors for my gutters.  His response amazed me.  He said we should wait until it rained a few times and then decide if we need them instead of spending the money up front.   His regard and concern were a refreshing change over some of the other contractors I have dealt with.  In addition, he never forgot what he said he would do, and his work was meticulous.  I thoroughly enjoyed having Tony do the work and that's a new experience for me.   He is a man of his word and I will have him back for other work.

I think very well of Tony. He is a supervisor, and I never had a problem getting in touch with him.

Overall, we spent $7300 for two separate projects, $1,600 for gutters, and $5,700 for interior work.

Back in April of 2009, our home was flooded (mainly our Master Bed/Bath). After about three months, we finally settled with our insurance. We usually always do all of the work/remodeling ourselves but this time, we had to hire contractors due to the fact we were going to be working out of town. Originally I had a different contractor to do the work. One of the first things I needed done was gutters (to help prevent anymore flooding issues) so the contractor I had, recommended Tony, U Need Gutters and More. Tony was scheduled to come and install gutters one afternoon but my original contractor did not show which left Tony, U Need Gutters in a bind. Tony offered to take care of the work themselves, right then, that day. Needless to say, I called the original contractor and told him that U Need Gutters and More were going to take care of all the eave and soffett work. He was ok with that and told me that he would be there to oversee them to make sure it was done right....RIGHT, he NEVER showed up and didn't need to because U Need Gutters and More took care of it and did it all in one day and did an excellent job. Never the less, I fired my original contractor and from then on, I dealt with Tony on all the rest of the remodeling that needed to be done. He reassured me that he could do whatever it was I needed done. He has over 39 yrs experience and had previously done custom bathroom and kitchens. He wrote me a quote and was ready to begin work ASAP. The project was remarkable. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and detail oriented contractor. This guy made MY bath/bedroom his own and took pride in everything that was done from start to finish. Not only did he get the work done, he basically designed the work himself. One of the first things I loved about them, was the fact that they kept in constant communication with me on everything. I had to be up in Illinois during most of this process and they kept me posted and every little detail plus sent me pictures on a regular basis. When it was time to pick out the final materials, he recommended I come home for that, and I'm so glad I did. The things he had picked out were simply beautiful. The work they did, was above and beyond anything I could ever imagine. The professionalism, pride, and detail that goes into there work is something that alot of contractors lack. I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat and have before and after pictures to show.
