+ -1 more1. Started out ok, they seemed honest, trustworthy and very nice. 2. The contract was weak at best, we should have had it reviewed in detail by our attorney from the beginning 3. The subcontractors did not put any thing in writting (details of paint colors, custom wood work, electrical work, so when mistakes were made it was our word against their word and they would refuse to finish if we did not give them more money. 4. Contractor rarely visited site to evaluate work done for progress or mistakes, fortunately one of us was able to go the home daily 5. Had to ultimately hire an attorney to resolve things 6. We have had to pay to have many things re-done that were not done correctly by their subcontractors
Description of Work: We hired PGF Investments ( a contracting company) to complete a home we purchased. They were to hire and manage the subcontractors until completion of the home. Not only did they NOT manage the subcontractors (we had to constantly call the subcontractors ourselves to get phases finished), the contractors rarely visited the homesite to inspect the work done or the progress. We even had to micromanage having the outhouse delivery (after 3 weeks of no outhouse) for the construction workers. They eventually stopped showing up, and then refused to give us an all bills paid affidavit that we needed for our mortgage demanding $10,000 additional for their time! We ultimately had to hire an attorney ($1600 in expense) and settled for $4000.00 so that we could move on with our lives! Do not hire this contractor!
