General Remodeling
1. Started out ok, they seemed honest, trustworthy and very nice. 2. The contract was weak at best, we should have had it reviewed in detail by our attorney from the beginning 3. The subcontractors did not put any thing in writting (details of paint colors, custom wood work, electrical work, so when mistakes were made it was our word against their word and they would refuse to finish if we did not give them more money. 4. Contractor rarely visited site to evaluate work done for progress or mistakes, fortunately one of us was able to go the home daily 5. Had to ultimately hire an attorney to resolve things 6. We have had to pay to have many things re-done that were not done correctly by their subcontractors
