I am grateful that he completed it by the end of August. It was done at a time when he had a surgery and our additional fee still did not mean that the job was done in the 10 business days. Unfortunately, it was almost twice as long. I know that an estimate is just that but there should be a flat fee with the expectation that it will be completed in 2 weeks or 10 business days without additional fees having to be applied. We are still ahead thankfully to get this done so we can close on time. Fingers crossed. Overall, he is a great salesman and very friendly. I do believe the surgery was the only thing that made him miss his deadline with us.

Robert has appraised my home twice now in 5 years. The previous time I was selling my home and out of three appraisals I got, his was much closer to where the market price ended up being. Due to that previous accuracy in his appraisal, I asked him to do an appraisal for me again, this time for the dispute of taxes with HCAD. The subject property was very difficult and I called him with only a week and a half to finish the job. He quickly made it to my house to start the appraisal despite being very busy. After a lot of discussion back and forth and after taking into consideration all of the issues with this particular property, he came up with a valuation that I believe much more accurately reflects the market value than what HCAD had produced. He kept an open mind and was able to dig into the complexities associated with the property to produce a proper valuation.
