Their specialty is air conditioning and it shows. I never call anyone else and tried about five other providers before I found them. From their office staff to their technicians, they are very professional. Michelle in the office is efficient, kind and effective. Buck, the technician, was also professional, diagnosed the problem, ensured the part was obtained, and the ac was fixed!! They’re he best. Been using them for many years.

Great. The freon was a little low and was causing the noise. Francisco did a great job explained everything to me and was efficient and professional. I only use lone air.

Alberto was very professional, courteous and checked both units. The ac needed freon. Because I have maintenance agreement I received a discount. He spent about an hour or more evaluating and charging. He also wore shoe covers so he would not track dirt in my house. He did a super job. Today during the heat of the day the ac worked perfectly.
What I like about lone star is that their buses is a/c. It's their specialty, not their hobby. I'm glad they don't do plumbing, pool care, carpentry, etc. u want an ac person working on my ac.
I will not call any other company.

This is the third time I have used Lone Star. The ac is not very old but the Amana units apparently are known to have a leak develop in their coils. We had purchased full warranty with our units so I half expected to get the runaround since I had this coverage. Could not be further from the truth. They arrived on time. They diagnosed the problem and charged the system while waiting for the coils to come in. I asked him how long it would be and he said a couple of days. Two days later they called me to schedule the coil replacement. All of this within a week. The folks on the phone were also wonderful. I won't use anyone else to fix my HVAC.

We have already used their services twice. The first time we needed them our A/C system was still under the warranty and they came and pressurized it with nitro and the air started cooling properly again. This time we decided to relocate the condenser to the side of the house because we need more space in our backyard.. Both times we called them they responded very fast, were very kind and professionals. By this time we can tell they had the most competitive price in comparison to other three different companies. We recommend them for sure.

I had noticed a problem with the and quot;soundand quot; of the compressor about a month ago and had called ARS. They sent someone who said there was nothing wrong with the unit and I was mistaken. I told him that I was very sure there was a problem as the units are right outside my bedroom window and I am very attuned to what sounds normal or not. He snickered at me and left. Lo and Behold, a month later, it failed. When I called ARS they said that they would only honor the parts portion of my full warranty and I would have to pay labor (although I have a full ten year warranty for parts and labor).
I called Goodman (the warranty people) and they provided me Lone Star's name among others, who provide service and honor the warranty. One of the other businesses also did not honor the labor portion of the warranty (Abacus) and I had reported this in a separate review of that company.
I called Lone Star and they said they would come out and they would call one hour before. They were extremely courteous. Jorge called an hour before and told me where he was and that he expected to be there on time. He arrived (and took his shoes off to enter the house - something I appreciate). He listened to my description of what the unit was doing and he said and quot;sounds like a capacitorand quot;. I showed him to the unit and he assessed it, confirmed the problem, fixed it AND checked all the A/C coolant levels, etc.
Lone star honored my warranty for parts and service and only charged me the trip charge.
I notice that the other reviews were from some time ago. People should check out Lone Star Air again. They did a very good job for me and they will be who I call with any a/c or heating maintenance or issue.

They were not trustworthy and responsible company. They tried to make business by saying that the compressor was bad and they had to out in a new one. It was not ethical about them and they did start the work after all this but they tried to trick me. I will not use them in future.

It went perfectly from the start. I had been quoted much higher price by a company on Angie's List with a (seemingly) good reputation. I asked for an estimate from Lone Star and they sent someone out by 10 a.m. the following day. They were on time, courteous and professional. They installed the new coil and did some other maintenance to the unit. The next evening (after hours) I noticed water dripping from the ceiling which is just below where the new coil was installed in the attic. I called Lone Star and the same guys were at my front door within 30 minutes to repair it. They fixed the problem, which was in no way their fault. I will never use another company to service my A/C and I have told everyone I know what a great company they are.

I have had a cool house since the unit was put in a year and a half ago during construction. There was no need for any service calls from the company as everything was fine from day one. It works great no matter how hot it gets. My builder contracted them so I don't know about the cost.

I am very unhappy with the service we got with them. They were almost an hour late to put the air conditioner in and they didn't finish the job in one day. We had to wait for them to come back a second time to finish it. Even after they came back, it still wasn't working right so we called a different company to finish the job.
