DeVoy's A/C & Refrigeration, Inc.

DeVoy's A/C & Refrigeration replaced our duct work & upgraded our ac unit. They installed an awesome air purification system as well - RGF REME HALO 24V UV light which kills bacteria & virus on surfaces and it removes odors from the house too. We are incredibly happy with their quality of work and the price we paid! ALL of their workers were clean, organized and professional. Kyle & Billy are amazing! Honest & knowledgeable HVAC professionals with years of experience. Devoy A/C is the only company I will ever use for my A/C & Furnace work. It was a really good experience for us and we are so happy! I highly recommend using their services.

My thermostat and AC stopped working during Sunday nights storm before Memorial day. I paid a 100.00 fee up front for a holiday service call and a John Moore tech named Nicholas came out to my house. He insisted I need a new motor and thermostat for $1900.00 and he told me my warranty was only 5yrs and expired. 

God always protects me and I immediately knew I should get another opinion. I did some asking around and I was given Billy Devoy's info with a strong recommendation. He was on the phone when I called, but his son Will called me back right away. Will and Kyle arrived a bit early and within 20 minutes hooked up a new thermostat and also identified a fuse that the John Moore tech had replaced and left the burnt one laying on the attic floor. Once the thermostat was replaced, the motor started right up  - there was nothing wrong with it.

I ended up getting the annual inspection service and a coil cleaning in addition to the thermostat for a fraction of the cost I was erroneously quoted by John Moore.

They also guided me to the American Standard website where I found my unit is under a 10yr warranty - good for another 4 yrs.

I am very thankful for their kindness, honesty, outstanding service and wise advice and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.  Had I not called them, I would have been robbed and never the wiser.

I have been using them since 2005. The thing that I really like about them is the great service they are able to offer. When I bought my house, they told me about a re-start kit that goes onto my air conditioner. When the power goes out, it acts like a surge protector and protects my condenser. There have been times they have come and I have actually given them a temporary password for my alarm system. I have never had any worries and nothing has even been out of place. They are highly ethical and respectful of my property. They are the only people that I trust with my air conditioning system

Simply outstanding. I've used Billy before which is why he is the only person I trust with my HVAC system. Impeccable Integrity. If he's not available, I wait until he can come out. He spent approximately an hour crawling around in my attic checking out my ventilation and conducted temperature reading tests at each vent. All discrepancies he noted were immediately corrected by the builder. He also recommended an additional part for the compressor which I purchased and he installed. Other services he has provided to me in the past include: purchasing/installed a programmable thermostat (and teaching me how to use it), recommending a filter company here in Houston where I've since used to purchase filters from at very competitive rates. He has also serviced my HVAC system when seasons change. He is always professional and I will definitely use him again.

THEY WERE VERY POLITE. I THOUGHT THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED.
