Shaun and his crew were awesome! They removed the old siding from our house and garage and replaced with OSB siding, house wrap and then Harie Plank horizontal siding. Then they caulked all the trim, nail holes and windows and doors and painted the entire house. The whole process took only a couple weeks and they cleaned the work site each and every night. We love our "New" house and would highly recommend Shaun Deskin and his crew for any remodeling work you need.

We cant say enough about the wonderful service and result that Shaun and his crew made to our house. They were always very caring, timely and courteous to our needs from the beginning. Whenever we had questions or concerns during construction, Jessie would always be here and when necessary Shaun would come as well. We felt as though they were part of our family because they are extremely caring of their jobs. Our house, garage and poolhouse had the original siding from 1972, which was very much in disrepair. Jessie always came out to introduce the crew and get set-up. First they removed all the siding, added osb wrapping with James Hardie and painted to finish, along with 6" gutters for better drainage. The Major addition was our Patio cover and outdoor kitchen with gas grill, running water and beverage sink, granite countertop and marble ledger tile for the wall and around 2 supporting posts. Picking a contractor is nerve wracking – are they honest, do they do good work, will they complete the job timely - to name just a few of the worries. I am very happy with the Deskins Group. They are local and it is important to me to support local businesses. I have used them twice now – small job involving siding and bees (don’t ask) last year and a much bigger job involving adding a walk-in shower where only the ever present 1970s wet bar existed, external paint job, new windows (replacing original aluminum), new hot water heater and a couple of smaller items in a 1974 house. Shaun Deskins was knowledgeable, personable, set reasonable expectations and has a knack for hiring crews that are competent, friendly, courteous and hard workers. (He and the his crews had their work cut out for them since there seems to be no 90 degree angles in this house.) And his crew chief – Jesse – is just the best! I work from home and need to be on conference calls at various times during the day and worked with my schedule. He kept me informed when more noisy work needed to occur (like jack hammering, nail guns, cutting out the aluminum windows, etc). Dust was another item that they excelled at keeping out of the rest of the house. And I have dogs and was worried about stray nails, screws, etc. Jesse ensured a big rolling magnet was run around the house frequently so that the dogs couldn’t get stupid and eat said metal. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

We had a leak on Saturday 12/8/2018. Shaun Deskins came on Sunday, emailed me a bid on Sunday night, did the work two days later and while doing the work they found two more problems and repaired those at no charge to me. Robby Patterson

I've have had many contractors come to our house for different estimates for various projects. We had our windows done by one company and then had siding down by Deskins Group. The pricing was great, the quality of work excellent and the crews were nice, always smiling (usually but the heat in Houston can melt that away). Shaun and Jesse were quick to respond to concerns and even corrected some of the installation of our windows. I wished we had them do the windows as well but lesson learned. Our next project with this team will be our roof.

Shaun and the guys built us a beautiful room addition, matching storage shed and re-roofed our house. They were great to work and very fair with the pricing even when we made last minute changes.

They really knew how to install the hardy plank siding and because of that we will never have to replace the siding again. I liked that during the quoting process, he was knowledgeable and made suggestions on the structure that no other provider had mentioned. He helped with some of the ideas that we were thinking of doing, that were not possible, but he made some alterative suggestions that worked. Him and his crew did a great job at a reasonable price.

They were always on time and professional. They always cleaned up after themselves. Overall it was a well-rounded good experience.

Shaun and his team did an excellent job performing roof and siding repairs to my house post Harvey. As soon as the issue was noticed I contacted Mr. Deskins and within 24 hours he arrived to access the situation and had his crew out the next day to perform repairs.

These guys did an awesome job. They were fast and priced really well.

He remodeled my kitchen and breakfast room to include beautiful granite, a distinctive backsplash, and new cabinets with excellent storage. He also built a custom window seat in the breakfast room to provide additional seating and storage.
