Decks Plus

Deck’s Plus recently built an outdoor kitchen and bath house when we had our pool built. We’re very particular, so probably not the easiest people to work for, and our HOA has quite stringent rules for such home additions, but things went amazingly well with these projects. Jose is extremely patient and responsive. The end results far exceeded our expectations – the bath house matches our house exactly and looks great. The kitchen is a perfect addition to our patio. Jose listened to what we wanted carefully and added his design expertise to create beautiful end results. Could not be happier. Highly recommend Deck’s Plus.

Jose and his crew did an excellent job and his pricing was very reasonable. Their attention to detail was excellent and they even stepped up and did allot of little extras but never asked for any additional money. He was even able to work with my OCD type behavior. It was really nice working with a contractor where you didn't feel like you were being nickeled and dimed. Already recommended him to several others.

Jose helped us to design the perfect outdoor kitchen for the space. Work started as scheduled and progressed at a fast pace. Framing for the kitchen counters with metal studs and concrete board was quick and the brickwork proceeded afterwards. The granite countertop was skillfully installed and the stamped concrete floor absolutely beautiful. The price included a 42" grill, 2-burner side unit, sink, and stainless steel drawers, slide out trash, and storage doors. Lots of storage and counter space.

The house is newly built and we had the building contractor provide extra covered patio space and stub out the utilities for the outdoor kitchen. Decks Plus easily provided a top quality product to finish off our new home and did it at a cost that couldn't have been competed with by a home builder. We are also very impressed with the quality of the RCS appliances that Decks Plus provided.

They did an excellent job. They knew we had a dog so they make sure that there wasn't any nails or anything. I would recommend them without any single hesitation.

very punctual, very professional and great work ethic on all of the guys that worked on my new deck.  Very price competitive and Jose Jara is one great guy.  When they finished the job I ask Jose for a few business cards so I could pass out to friends & neighbors because I never worried that they were going to be late, that the job would require my supervision.  Nothing.

We were interested in doing a little backyard makeover and decided to build a pergola.  Jose was referred to us through BDH Landscaping. Jose came out and gave us a quote for a 12x12 cedar pergola. He also gave us drawings of the pergola plan that we could submit to the Architectural Review Committee for approval.  He was very patient while we went through the approval process.  Once we got the go ahead he and his crew were here and got right to work.  The project was completed on time and we had a positive experience with everyone from Jose, to the workers who assisted in getting the job finished.  Everyone was very professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend Decks Plus again.

They did a fantastic job. We provided a picture of what we wanted and Jose made it happen. His crew was promt and always kept a clean job site. We are very happy with his work and have recommended him a lot since our project was completed. It's been almost a year and our patio looks just as beautiful as it did when they finished the job.

Jose was very professional and they mostly did a good job I would use them again in the future for more work.  My only complaint was in the lack of a plan for drainage when adding a new covered patio to an existing back patio.  Where the two meet, when there is a rain, we get a large puddle of water.  When I called Jose about this he promptly came out to try to do what he could to fix the issue with out charge (it did not work though).  An alternative plan is in place to correct it still yet.  I am not sure if it will work that is to be determined still.

They were great at communicating with me about when they were coming out, and they were here promptly.  They also made sure I was aware of the steps they were talking in the building process, as well as the cost.

Jose Jara was referred to me by a friend. He came by, assessed our situation and provided a very competitive quote. Once we decided to move forward with a roof extension, Jose and his workers responded quickly. He dealt with local HOA, his work was approved quickly. He started on time and did a fabulous job. Our "special requests" were handled with ease. Each and every day, Jose's team worked diligently and efficiently. They were a very friendly and accommodating team and cleaned up each and every time they were here. The finished product exceeded our expectations as did the final bill. I would not hesitate to recommend Decks Plus to anyone in the general Houston area!

Absolutely brillant! I wouldn't even consider going to anyone else for a quote. Jose and his teams of workers are the ultimate professionals. They are polite, courteous and extremely hard working. Every evening the construction crew cleared away rubbish, swept down window sills and even used a metal detector to ensure no nails were left lying around. Great attention was paid to detail and everyone worked hard to make sure that not only does the deck look fantastic, but the underpinnings and the structure are solid and of top quality workmanship. The electricians consulted to make sure that the outlets were where we wanted them, but also in a safe location. The painter took time to ensure the paint matched with the rest of the house and was prepared to change it if it was not to my liking. It was really a positive experience and I cannot recommend this company highly enough,
