Cy-Fair Electrical Services

The service was professional.

I called Cy-Fair Electric the morning of November 30 in hopes of having some same-day electrical work completed in my home.  Because I was looking for immediate service, I didn't leave my name and number and instead contacted another Angie's List electrical contractor.  As it turned out, the contractor I called for immediate service was a "no show."  Checking his Caller ID and noticing a missed call, Scott Landers with Cy-Fair Electric returned my call Friday evening and offered to come out that night.  We settled on a Monday morning appointment (Dec. 3) and Scott and George showed up at the scheduled time.  We're in the midst of remodeling our kitchen and have replaced our electric range with one using natural gas.  The gas range needed a 120V outlet to run the electronic display and spark igniter and Scott offered a couple different solutions to remedy our problem.  They were efficient, courteous, and charged me exactly what was qutoed prior to beginning their work.  Can't say enough about their customer service and the work they completed.  I will definitely call them again for any future electrical needs.

We had a dryer that stopped working and called out the appliance repair company.  It was two business days before they could even come out to take a look. Upon arriving, their rep quickly (within less than 10 min) told us it wasn't a problem with our dryer but rather a problem with our electrical outlet...and then proceeded to charge us a $91 service charge.  We called Cy-Fair Electric late that morning and by early afternoon they were at our house to evaluate the issue.  Turns out it was NOT an issue with the electrical outlet but rather an issue with the dryer cord.  Scott said he could switch out the cord for us and he even went to Home Depot to purchase the replacement cord for us. Cord is replaced, dryer works!  We were so impressed with Scott's professionalism and honesty that we got estimates from him for a few other projects that we've been wanting to take on but have just been putting off. There is no doubt that we will call Cy-Fair Electric for ALL of our future electrical needs.  They are extremely responsive and prompt, knowledgeable, and very professional in how they conduct business and treat their customers.

They were willing to working around my schedule with their flexible hours. They were prompt, honest, polite, and very thorough. They made sure it was not a stressful experience for me.

We built a half-court basketball court in the backyard and wanted to have a plug out there for lighting, fans, whatever we need. We didn't want to run an extension cord that far out (about 120 feet from the back of the house). They suggested that I have the trench dug when they got there to save us money (they are too expesive for that). I talked to them on a Monday, had the trench dug on a Tuesday and they came out Thursday morning and completed it within 2 hours. In addition, they kindly but the dirt back in the trench for me.
