ANIMAL HOSPITAL-FM 529

We own a business on FM 529, and brought in for emergency care a small dog, with tags, who had been injured (hit by car) in front of our business.  Poor thing was bleeding, crying, somewhat mobile, and these heartless people refused to even take a single look at this poor animal, even after I said I would be responsible, until my husband left our business to bring me my debit card (20 mins) so they could run it for an approval on the $90 emergency exam charge.  I was furious and heartsick, but had no idea where else to take this poor animal as it was after usual hours.  As it turns out, if they'd bothered to begin the exam, they would have realized that this was an animal they had seen before, and they had information in their files to contact the owner!  I was fortunate enough to get that information elsewhere (from the animal's registration tags) and the owner graciously and immediately agreed to payment, so my charges were refunded, but I was struck by this vet's office's callous disregard for the animal's pain and suffering until they actually had some form of payment in their hands.  I have since made the effort to find another vet's office close by for regular daytime treatment if needed, as well as the info for the after hours emergency vet closest to our shop.  I will NEVER take another animal to this office.
