I got to know about them through word of mouth.  They were good.  They came within two days of me calling them.

Our AC was not working. I called the company in the morning and got a call back within 5 min. Chuck came and found the problem right away and showed it to me. Outside unit not running, he replaced a part. I also asked him to check freon. He also noticed another problem which he told my husband about and showed him what he could do to solve that problem. He was very nice and polite and took his time explaining the problem to us. He will be our air conditioning man from now on. He knew what he was doing and also appeared to be very honest. We were very impressed.

Checked Angie's List for references and decided to call Addicks-Champion A/C based on distance to our home. Turns out that Chuck Kostak was in the neighborhood and he could be at our house within an hour, which in Houston is definitely a record. Chuck identified the problem almost immediately as a burned out circuit board but unfortunately he did not have a replacement on his truck. He advised he would order the part and return no later than next morning before noon to complete the job. Surprisingly Chuck called within an hour and advised he had located the part and would be back as soon as he could. Within an hour he was back and replaced the board and all was working well. Since he was here I asked him to do a complete yearly check up of the system which he was happy to do and total cost, all inclusive was $395.00. Chuck is good, fast and courteous and is definitely recommended.

Addicks Champion Air Conditioning did a very good job with my air conditioner. Even though my air conditioner is quite old, they did a good job finding out what was wrong with it and making sure that it wouldn't happen again. They explained the problem to me so I could understand. They were polite when I called. I did not have to wait for them to make the service call. They were there within a couple of days after I called them. I would call them again.

I have used them for the past eight years. They are always on time and have professional employees that are able to get the job done right. They are quick to return your call and eager to make appointments. They are rather quick about servicing your air conditioning unit, always stand behind their work and fix any problems that may occur. I think they are a fair company with a fair price.

Champion Air is a great company to do business with. They installed our air conditioner and we have used them since to do the servicing. We did try another company, but found they were not familiar with the type of air conditioner we use. Our air conditioner has 2 pumps one for heat and one for air. The air conditioner gets serviced once a year and we have a service agreement with the company, so the servicing is free and we are always pleased with their punctuality. The service agreement also covers any parts and repairs, so we usually buy it every year.
