Alex came out and provided an estimate to repair the leak that was found. The repairman came and once the leak was found and repaired the pressure was not good. He took the impeller off and found several worn parts. Those were replaced and the pool looks great. I would highly recommend this company.

These jobs were done at various dates over a time span of about four years. The results are always better than anticipated, which is to say most excellent!

The pool cleaner was prompt and did a good job. He was not the person who had given us the quote. He told me that the next morning would be the repairs. On the following day, a two man team arrived to do the repairs. They had to drain about a foot of water from the pool. Unfortunately, they indicated to me that they did not speak English. They were at the house for about 2 hours, and then they left abruptly. They did not clean up their workspace - there was broken tile, old caulk, new caulk and debris all over the steps of the pool, and on both sides of the spa along the ground. Really a huge mess. But the worst was the tilework. They rushed through the job, broke many of the tiles, and replaced them in the incorrect pattern. I called and left messages for the owner. We just got bills. He consistently lied about calling us back - said he'd come back and look at the work, but never showed up or claimed we weren't home. Finally, he came out in DECEMBER, did nothing and demanded his money. My husband just paid it to close this chapter, but I cannot advise you strongly enough about the dishonestly and incompetence of this company. Avoid.

Bear with me as I tell my story.  We purchased this house in August of 2015.  The home inspector NEVER inspected the pool equipment and not the heater since the gas was off. we used the spa a couple times and all was fine.  Then the heater began to malfunction so we filed a claim with our Homeowners Insurance.  (that's another story and very unhappy with HWA).  They sent out a tech form their preferred provider that stated we needed a new ignition control module, and pilot to the tune of $700.  HWA refused the claim stating that the inspector didn't inspect the heater and we couldn't prove to their satisfaction it worked when we moved in.  (The previous owners invoice from Texsun wasn't good enough).  Anyway as we began to pursue legal action against HWA we decided to get multiple quotes.  The quotes ranged from the same $700 to some saying we needed a new heater.  Since that was the consensus with most of the 4-5 pool service companies I finally called ABA since that is who my realtor refereed us to.
Mike from ABA pools showed up the same day in lousey weather and took a look.  His response was far different than the other 6 or so pool service companies.  He said there is nothing wrong with your heater, and you don't need any work.  He explained that the filter system was not cleaned and that it was impeding the flow thus the safetys on the heater were causeing it to shut down.  he said replace that big filter and all should be fine.  He didn't charge me a service fee, but considered it a quote.
So I ordered a filter from an online vendor.  a couple days later it arrived and I installed it.  Low and behold everything worked perfectly.  My family has enjoyed the spa / jacuzzi on many of these colder nights.  
ABA was the only company that got it right.  I canceled my claim with the HWA, canceled the legal action, and now have them coming out to certify the pool working order to avoid any future issues with the pool warranty.
I can't recommend ABA enough.  The VALUE they bring is unsurpassed and I will be a repeat customer and will use them in the spring when it comes time to redo some of the tiles, or down the road when it is time to change out old equipment.,

They are dependable and not particularly cheap. They communicate well if there is something that needs to be fixed. They respond well. I trust that they are doing a good job.

We called Alex on Friday afternoon, and he happened to be in the area. He arrived around 10 minutes later. He assessed the issue, and knew immediately what to do to resolve the leak. He took care of our problem.

 A few years ago, we used him to re-plaster our pool. He did a great job.

ABA was very easy to work with. Polite and detailed in all discussions. I actually live well outside their normal service range and learned about them from my neighbor when I observed their truck at his house to service his pool. As it turned out ABA typically services the neighbor's other house near Katy so was there because he is a continuing customer. Nevertheless they agreed to come out here anyway (near Lake Conroe). ABA used Google Earth to assess my pool size and I sent photos as requested of my pool equipment so they were prepared with the correct filters on site. The initial appointment was missed as Andrew at ABA forgot to write it in his calendar--very apologetic and the appointment was quickly rescheduled for a few days later. The technical was careful of my property and directed the water drainage as i requested. I chose ABA because of my neighbor's satisfaction with their service on multiple occasions, and because of their long time track record of highly rated performance. This worked out well for me--my pool looks great and they gave me good advice on future replacement options on my pumps whithout trying to entice me into replacing everything now. I would use them again.

Most pool companies seem to want to do only contract type work.  ABA was happy to help me out ad hoc, as I had an injured leg and could not do the work in question.  They were very prompt, did excellent work and left the pool cleaner than I could ever do.  Office was courteous and helpful, and they were nice to allow me to send a check after the work was done.  I would be glad to call them again.

We recently purchased a home and it came with a pool.  We talked with the prior home owner and ABA Pools had been servicing the pool for several years.  We continued with their service and thus far they have been excellent.  Since we are first time pool owners we had some questions and the pool technician was more than happy to explain all the different aspects of our pool as well as some history on the pool.

They are very reasonable and extremely responsive. The only down side is they don't respond to emails, but the guy said that because he is not reading emails he can be available. I am happy with the service and we will continue to use him in the future.

They were very good to work with. They did exactly what we asked them to do. They didn't leave a mess.

When our house was struck by lighting, our pool equipment was affected, the device that turns salt into chlorine. My husband called several companies, including those we found on Angie's list, but they did not return our calls. ABA told him to check the fuse, which my husband replaced himself for only $3.00. We feel that ABA put customer service ahead of profit, they could have made an service call and charged us a lot of money for doing the same thing, but chose not to. We will call on them again.
