The Home Inspection Report I received for the property I am purchasing is Excellent. From Matt Petty's Report, the sellers installed a complete New Roof with a 30-Year Warranty, and dropped the sales price from 195,000 down to 183,000. The original List price was 212,900 for the Brick Home, approx. 1940 sqft, 3-Bedroom + office, 2.5 Ba, 2-Car Att, Year Blt-1970, in Commerce. Great Job Matt Petty! Mr. Petty, after accepting to do our inspection incident to our purchase (which had extreme time constraints-deadlines), backed out at the last minute, leaving us in a panic to find someone literally last minute. Mr. Petty refused to help find a replacement or explain why he backed out.

"NOT TRUE!!!!I did accept the job & later turned it down, but not at the last minute. I canceled the job on Friday. The job was scheduled for Monday, leaving this client plenty of time to find a replacement. The reason for the cancellation was that this person wanted something more than a general home inspection, which i am not qualified to do.This person is a lawyer who should be more honest when leaving a business review; especially when I never actually worked for him. As far as he knows, I could have a had a family emergency but he did not care to ask. i feel sorry for this person & now I am very glad I turned. down the job."
