The office is open M-F 8AM-6PM Sat.8-3 But service doesn't stop at that time.If your on the schedual ,we will be there! We call all customers when in route.

if I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it’s just gotten ridiculous, I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want to have constant issues that they either don’t seem to have any idea what they are talking about and contradict themselves or just blame it on you and some magical elf that changes settings even though you know you didn’t touch it. We had them come out and replace our unit through AHS, we have had nothing but issues since. We have been in our house 12 years and the only thing that changed was the unit installed by Joes. Our electric bill skyrocketed due to kicking into auxiliary mode even when that’s turned off and they couldn’t give us a reason why. Every time I had them out they couldn’t seem to tell me what the problem was then I was told point blank oh the problem is the thermostat, we changed it and it didn’t fix it and when he returned I told him he said it was the thermostat last time and he said oh I never said that which he clearly did and my friend was even here to hear it. I continue to still have problems with the unit running properly and when I called back to let them know, they told me that it’s my fault that we messed up settings, when I explained we have not touched the settings they basically proceeded to call me a liar. I explained why would I call if I was changing settings and that was the problem, do you not think I have better things to do with my time, don’t you think I’d give all the information so that I could be sure to have it fixed if we caused it by changing settings. She then proceeded to tell me it was time I call someone else and then hung up on me, because that’s professional. I called back and told them as much that their customer service was disgusting, that I continue to have problems and all along they have shown no knowledge of the issue and made it a guessing game over multiple visits then she said oh well we didn’t even install the thermostat which I quickly corrected her that yes they actually did the last visit, which she probably should have known before spouting that off. Every visit has felt like an actual guessing game and like they were completely unsure of what to do even with the most simple things that are common like cleaning out the drain line, which wasn’t even checked the first two visits when I was told it was the thermostat. I literally NEVER write reviews, but this has been so awful and so stressful for over a year that hopefully this saves one person from making that mistake. It’s been my biggest house repair regret by far.

They came out and wouldn't fix it since my homeowner's warranty wouldn't pay for it, even though I said I would pay for it myself. After a week in the hot sun, someone else came and fixed it in 30 minutes. Words cannot express my loathing for these losers

The company installed a furnace in the attic area. When the heating failed to work and several calls were made to American Home Shield, there were several different HVAC companies that looked at what was installed and what was documented as installed and noted that the documentation and the actual installation did not match. Basically, the company wrote down one thing and did not install the system to what was written. As a home owner, I am not familiar with the systems and was unaware of the failure until it was brought to my attention by the inspecting companies that says it need to be brought up to the KW level as it will not operate properly if it is not., I contacted the company and They initially did not want to talk to me and said we did it right without offering to fix it. I complained advised I would file a complaint and then that said well we will see if AHS will authorize it to be fixed. So, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and AHS denied this an the company again refused to fix an improper install. Basically, they said they installed 15kw and the other technicians note there is only 5kw installed in the unit. To me they are guilty of theft for a failure to honor a work contract. I intend to get another company to fix this issue. But this company has no integrity. It was 1900 out of pocket and the rest was from AHS project.

I had used Joe multiple times in the past on numerous properties but was very disappointed in the customer service when things go wrong. A coil was replaced and prior to replacing it no leaks were ever present, after the replacement the coil in the hvac system it throughout the house causing over $1275 in damage. I hate giving negative reviews and ruining a perfect 5.0 rating but I did want the customer service be known when things go wrong that Joe Cool does not attempt to offer suggestions to make it right. Sheri the company manager mentioned that the leak was partially a result of the service of joe cool and The plumbing on the house. Although I was willing to offer suggestions on the $1275 in damage post repair(maybe split the cost of the damage), Sheri mentioned they would not be responsible for secondary damage. Secondary damage is defined as, “the damage that can be caused after the initial damage or failure of a not related to a direct repair.” Because this was partially in relation to both parties I was willing to work with them with splitting repair cost and avoid this as well as a bbb complaint I will be placing later today. Unfortunately the manager was very defensive and did not allow me to offer suggestions. Sorry Joe Cool you will definitely be on my list of companies to avoid in the future for any and all people looking for service. Service with Joe Cool is good until things go bad. Procede with caution. True customer service shines thru when things go bad.

We had a previous good experience with Joe Cool. When our air conditioner began giving us problems we called them again. After two visits to our home we were told there was nothing wrong with it. He seemed in a hurry to leave during both visits did not seem to want our business. We decided to give another company a try. They found the problem and fixed it promptly. I am so glad to be cool again, no thanks to Joe Cool.

Diagnosed A/C issue and recommended calling an different service provider/repair person.
It's rare these days to find good honest people who don't try to take advantage of you. I would call this company again in a heartbeat!!!!

Do you know that feeling when you meet a service technician and you immediately know that you can trust this honest individual? That is how you feel with this gentleman. He completed his work quickly, explained totally what he did and the costs associated. Love this company and will use and recommend him to everyone I know. In fact, I am going to make sure people know about this company through all my sources. A breath of fresh air. And a good air conditioning guy in Texas is the next best thing to Heaven!!!

I was not here when the technician arrived, but after dealing with numerous contractors under our service warranty, we were assigned Joe Cool by the simple luck of the draw. My husband was very pleased with the professionalism and said I would have loved his approach, first putting slippers over his shoes out of consideration of our home. He quickly diagnosed the problem and advised my husband on exactly what the problem was. Today we learned that neither of our units will cool and we called (today is a Saturday). They will be out first thing Monday morning. I feel very comfortable with the integrity of this family owned business. Obviously I would recommend them as I have elected to use them several times. We ditched the Home Warranty program so trust is a real issue for us now.

Joe Cools was the 3rd contractor assigned to a home warranty repair of an AC air handler (inside unit). This was a claim that had been pending for 9 months. We were told they were the "crack' team that solved all the problems for the warranty company. I looked them up on the internet and BBB before they came and saw some negative reviews, but allowed them to come anyway. They "examined" my system by simply opening the door to the closet where the AC air handler was located, and walking outside and looking at the outside unit. Joe Cools did not put any testing equipment on the unit and did not even turn it on. They then called the warranty company and told them one unit was bad and the other was fine. When I objected to this inspection, they laughed me off. It was a 100% visual inspection where they didn't even crack open the system or turn it on. Ultimately the warranty company did pay the claim and covered much more than what Joe Cools had instructed. This was not easy, but I had other BBB A+ companies look at the system and that is what made the difference. Since I don't know what Joe Cools would have been like if they had first examined the system, I can't speak to their skill. But if you're dealing with a home warranty company and they are called out for a 2nd or 3rd opinion, beware. I can't say anything good about them from my experience in that situation.

This company is the one my home warranty sends out on any heating or AC repairs. Both times I need work, I place a service on line with the warranty serive and Joe Cool company response within a hour with a call and had a technican on site later that day. The repairs were quick and the people seem very helpful, even giving tips to save calls in the future by doing simple cleaning myself. I would use this company even if I wasn't covered under the warranty service.
