David was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable of the man cave I was looking to create. His experience in the industry allowed him to offer many great creative ideas but also technical suggestions on details like window, equipment, material, HVAC placement to name a few. I would definitely recommend him to anyone for their next project.

My wife and I used Mr. Lawson for barndominium plans and he was fantastic! David was super responsive and walked us through everything! He made sure we were happy with the plans we received and was very thorough! He even provided us with a 3D viewer allowing us to “walk through” the house virtually! David was amazing to work with. I was very unsure how my home was going to come together, it is a little on the smaller side and has some unique shape to it. From start to finish was one of the best experiences. He listened to what I wanted, reminded me of things I needed and really took the time to cultivate a space where my family and I can really look forward to calling home once the remodel is complete. Communication was timely and enjoyable. Turn around on revisions were fast and accurate. I would absolutely recommend his talent to anyone looking to hire. 10/10

A David did an absolutely wonderful job of redesigning my kitchen that I wanted to expand. He is very talented and I recommend him thoroughly.

Dave designed the room addition for our home. He did an amazing job, quickly and very reasonably priced. He is very knowledgeable and helped us visualize and conceptualize what we wanted. He then turned to vision into actual plans! He also has a breadth of experience and knowledge that was so useful in answering our many questions about this undertaking. He has made himself available for further consultation during the build-out. That gives us a great sense of assurance and confidence in moving forward with this project.

We used Davids services to design our new home and we have been very happy. The GUI which allows a walk thru was both helpful during the design and the building phase. During the design phase the GUI enabled me to visualize the final product, much better then just a floor plan. During the building phase I have been able to do screen shots and present the builder with how the area in question should look like. David is also very good at returning phone calls and not pushing to get the drafts completed so that he can close the project. He also will make slight modifications to the drawings many months after the drafts were completed without cost.

David did an amazing job walking us through the process. He accommodated our needs at all times and handled all requests promptly. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone. Excellent job all around.

I've worked with many architects and David Lawson outshined them all. He asked great questions and was not bossy and did not try to push his ideas on me. But a lot of his ideas were fantastic. Nice having an idea person to really help us move along and get a great home plan.

An idea is an idea until it makes it to paper. David is patient, professional, and a great personal to collaborate ideas with. I thought I would never have my ideas transferred from my mind to paper but David took exactly what my wife and I were thinking and made it come to life. We had to make a few changes to the design and David was extremely accommodating and was a pleasure to work with. We are thrilled to break ground on our 86x45ft indoor sports facility. We will be using David/ homeMADE design for any of our design needs and I recommend homeMADE Design for anyone building.
