Well done.  Timely well done. I did loose one plant that did not recover the transplant.

Representative was scheduled to come out and evaluate our situation.  He had to reschedule due to weather related reasons.  Once the evaluation was done we scheduled a crew to arrive on 1/2/14 to perform the work.  Once the room was cleared out, I asked for a re-evaluation because of concerns that more piers were needed.  The crew arrived as scheduled and re-evaluated the slab and it was decided, with my agreement, that two more piers were needed.  The work was scheduled to be performed in one day and was completed by 2:30 in the afternoon.  The area was cleaned to pre-job condition.  The slab is now level and we have our add on room back.  Crew performed well and was very professional.  The total cost was higher than the agreed to price, because two additional piers were added, but they were charged at the same rate as the other piers.

Our home's slab was uncracked but had dropped more than 2 inches following the drought in 2011.  We had used Foundation Savers to level our detached garage a few years earlier and used them this time for our home.  We had 12 piers installed around 2/3 of the house's perimeter.  The crew finished the work in one long day.  The owner stopped by to check the work, which we appreciated.  We are happy the problem was corrected before the slab could have cracked.
Unfortunately, the plumbing under one corner of the house did not fare so well.  The sewer line from the master bath had been cracked by the sinking slab and when the slab was lifted, the line began leaking.  That required another $900 for a plumber to tunnel under and repair the lines.  Foundation Savers helped us by locating a good plumber capable of tunneling under the slab to do the repair.  This is a common problem when leveling slabs but all ended well.

It was horrible.  I have never dealt with a company that totally ignores your request for service like this.

Update 02/06/2014:

On February 6, 2014 Mr. Leroy Haws of Foundation Savers called and came to our home to see if there were any complaints or issues that we wished to be addressed by his company.   We certainly welcomed his visit and we discussed the problems that we had.   First, and most important, his system has been installed and is working well after our son fixed it.   Next, we discussed the other problems associated with the job.  Most of them involved delayed or ignored responses from Foundation Savers.  These are all now years in the past.   Contract signing date:  August, 2010 Job completion and payment: December 2010    No paperwork or instructions for the project were delivered but were promised.   For the next couple of months there were various problems with the job, involving breaks in the line and ponding water (these were addressed and resolved by the company, including putting in new lines).   When other issues arose (specifically, a broken line that occurred while we were gone and required immediate repairs by our son who was watching the house), we called the office on two or three occasions without a response.  On June 14, 2011,  a certified letter was sent to the company.  The certified letter was signed for by the office manager.  Since we did not get a reply to the letter, we did stop trying to contact them.  One year later, on September 14, 2012, we wrote a letter to Angie's List.   In summary, the greatest and most aggravating problem, was the non-response from  Foundation Savers .  We have not had any problems with the foundation - cracks , door frames or other signs of problems.
Response from FOUNDATION SAVERS
"We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the reviews by [member name removed] and [member name removed]. Foundation Savers installed a 2 zone moisture system around his home. [member name removed] was nice, paid us in full, and never called with any complaints. While we were there, [member name removed] asked us to level the A/C pad and replace a small broken piece of the driveway (he gave us $100 extra for doing these things which were not a part of our foundation moisture system contract). The patch on the driveway was level when we left, but patches are never permanent and the color does not match the old concrete (which we explained at the time). (One of [member name removed] complaints was the color mismatch). We installed a faucet which we understand burst from the cold weather while the homeowners were out of town. Their son replaced it. [member name removed] said there were puddles of water around the house. We came out and checked and found that the moisture system line we installed had multiple cuts in it, causing puddles to stand. You simply cannot have breaks in the line unless a shovel goes through the line! They said [member name removed] son came out and fixed it. They did add an additional small soom on the back of their house and that could very well have been the event that caused the custs in the line--we don't know for sure. We did, however, replace one zone totally as we do not like "repairs" to the line unless we do the repairs. This was done at no charge to [member name removed]. We also replace a gauge. [member name removed] said there was water in the gauge. It was not water, but rather glycerin. To keep down friction, we replaced it with a different type of gauge w/o liquid. The last item for us to address was [member name removed] complaint that she did not receive a manual on the system. The owner of the company clearly gave a manual, not once but twice! This was note each time in [member name removed] customer file. Their home is close to our office and it was not a problem to hand deliver these manuals! (Actually, no manual is needed. There is a setting for summer and one for winter. It's just that simple!) As a final note, we purchased a cruise package from their company, including travel insurance because they had bought from our company. We never received the insurance policies so we don't know where the money really went. One of our men could not go and they refused to refund any money to us. We did not choose to go on a "witch hunt" after them! We are satisfied that their unit is working and we did stand behind the warranty. We will continue to provide service, if needed, because we do stand behind our work. We have a very good reputation in our community and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, which we are proud of! We would hope that both sides are in agreement now and that the important issue is that the unit is working as it should."

The services performed where to break up my sidewalk, dig down about four or five feet and place four concrete pier's under the corner of my house and place a root barrier between the house and the trees that caused the problem. I have a lifetime warantee and since I watched the whole process, which took about six hours, I know they did what they said they were going to do. It was a 100 degree day but those workers never stopped. I kept bring them water, I felt so sorry for them but they never complained and cleaned up everything when they were done. Their workers are very dedicated and hard working.

Main leak was repaired, but there is still some water seepage out of the unit which the contractor seems unable to locate and repair. To his credit, there was no additional charge for second visit and second repair attempt.
Response from FOUNDATION SAVERS
"Many times these leaks will self seal themselves. Since we haven't heard from him since, we are assuming that is what happened."
