Trip, the service manager, noticed the water leak above the engine when I took the car in previously for an oil change.  He also noticed the serpentine belt was showing small cracks.  This car had had no engine work for several years so I was glad to have these problems fixed.  The cost came in way under what the dealership would charge.  I took the car in around 10:00 a.m. Monday and it was out by 4:00 the same day.  That's pretty good because the labor for replacing the water inlet valve is pretty involved.  Great job and I highly recommend this Exxon station at Doddridge and S Alameda for your car work.  I also had concerns about the struts and shocks and water hoses but Trip told me they're okay for now.  I do recommend that you take your car in to this location on a Monday morning as early as possible.  I tried to get this work done there last week on a Wednesday but they were overloaded with work for the week already.   Today, Monday, it was smooth sailing.

My car was running hot so I took it to William Thomas Exxon at Doddridge and S Alameda.  They have worked on my cars several times in the past and I've never had a problem with their work. .  My car is a late model Chrysler sedan and it was overheating.  I knew that it was probably the water pump but was worried that it might also need additional repairs because the car had gotten very hot.  I trust the people at this service station so that's where I took it.  After they looked at the car I was told the problem was only in the pump and no belt work or other engine work was needed.  The job does require refilling the coolant, though.  But I was lucky enough that nothing else was required.  The repair cost me $360, which was significantly less than the dealership would have charged, probably saved me well over $100.  What I really like about this Exxon station is that they are quick to get to you, always very professional and they seem to know that your time is valuable and they do their best to get you in and out ASAP.  On the downside, they have a very small waiting area, not a separate room but just some very close together chairs in the same front area where people come in to pay for things, so that's a little too cozy for my taste, but they do offer a few magazines, and coffee, and it's well air-conditioned, so while it's a bit crowded at times it is tolerable if you have to wait for your car, as far a state inspection sticker.  This was an all day job, pretty much so I got a ride home rather than wait.  They had the car all day, but they did finish as promised.  I had no further problems after the repair so they did their usual good job and the price was not out of line.  There are probably shops that would do the job a little cheaper but these folks stand behind their work, totally.  I would rather have a shop with integrity do a job like this because you just cannot afford to have a water pump giving problems and overheating your car if you drive the distances from home that I have to drive.  Their quality is just as good as the dealership for most jobs, I am convinced, and though they're not the cheapest around, you can trust them not to screw your car up, and get you in and out as fast as possible.  That's worth a lot.  I will definitely go back to William Thomas Exxon for any repairs that require top quality mechanics.

They always take me. You don't have to have an appointment, you just go in and if it's not too long you wait. They're always courteous.

I've been using them for years and I definitely highly recommend them. Their price is reasonable. They are very courteous and very professional. I've never had a problem with any of their work. They've a good turnaround time and they did a good work. I’ve used them multiple times over the last several years since 2004. I didn’t have any problems.

They did fix it, but they did some more work and I thought it was going to be covered from the last time, but it was not and they said it was something else. I had some work done on reservoir tank because the light keeps coming on and I keep going back to them and they keep telling me it is fine and I am not quite sure if they are finding the real thing which is wrong. I am not sure if they are looking into it as much as I think they need to, but they tell me they are. I keep on going back because I do not really know anybody else to go to. I would recommend them because the price is not that bad because I think somebody else would charge me more.

They are very nice and very professional. They go out of their way to make sure that everything is done right and that I am happy. They are very kind people. I would recommend them and I will continue to use them.
