I called him on a Friday once I got the money together. We made a date for Monday morning at 8am. John called me on Saturday to confirm and that he would go out and buy the materials needed so he could start at 8am on Monday. I gave him the money he needed for the materials on that Saturday and he re-measured the dimensions again. On Monday morning at 8am he was outside digging up the holes to set the poles and mixing concrete. It had rained that morning a bit, so I was unsure if he would be able to work like that, but it wasn't a problem for him. He gave his word he would be here and he was. This guy knows how to build a fence! Initially he said it would take a day to do the work, but it took him less than a day. He was done with all of the work by 1pm. He left the area very clean and neat. He was sincere and very hard working. I invited him in out of the sweltering heat and gave him some water as he wrote out my final receipt. I will definitely be calling him back for his services. I would recommend his work to anyone in the Corpus Christi area looking for quality work from an honest guy.
