They had a fair price and they did a good job.

They started with the sink. They had a down-on-his-luck relative do that. It took him hours and he also looked to be on the brink of a heart attack at times and had to stop work. He chipped the vanity's marble sink and didn't think it was necessary to replace it. Acted as though I was making an unreasonable request when I asked him to replace it. He tore out the old bathtub surround and left the trash all over my porch and front lawn (which was not removed for several days!). He installed a new surround but failed to caulk it. It barely stuck to the wall. There was glue and caulking covering the bathroom floor. He also tracked dry wall all over my house. So, the company apologizes and comes out to correct the problem. Bathroom take two. They come 4 hours late. They install a new vanity and again chip it! Again act as though I am really putting them out by asking that they replace it with one that is not chipped. The initial guy put wood molding inside the shower for some reason or another so they had to pull that out (wood and a wet environment do not mix) They tore out the surround and again put in new drywall and a tub surround. Again, it was not done properly and again did not stick to the wall in some places. They also put a completely insignificant amount of caulking around it. It immediately pieced off! They left the bathroom/house a wreck with caulking and drywall everywhere, and called it a day. They didn't leave until 9:30 PM. Completely unprofessional. They used several rolls of our paper towels, didn't sweep or otherwise clean up. Bathroom take 3. They replace the vanity once again. Not chipped!! They do the bathroom surround once again. They take no fewer than 7 breaks which include multiple trips to the store for forgotten items (they forgot they needed caulking) and one of them going home several times. Around 8pm the head guy (I assume) came and tried to assist them with their incompetence. They nailed the surround to the wall as they tried to finish everything in a rush. They left the place a mess again but I was not about to ask them to clean it up as they are incompetent, and it was well past 9pm again. It was not even worth it to ask them to come back and clean up or do their job properly!! The week between the time when they "finished" the job and I hired someone else to do the job the nails they used to put up the wall surround rusted. Imagine that! It also took me nearly 4 hours to clean up the caulk, glue, tape, nails, etc that they left littering the bathroom. These guys were nice but completely incapable of completing work in a competent, timely manner. They always had an excuse and I gave them entirely too many chances to redeem themselves. Perhaps they should stick to landscaping. They bragged about their landscaping abilities.
