The roof of my car was leaking from the sunroof. The dealership would not touch the job because the inside supports for the sunroof were badly rusted. I went to see an auto body shop recommended by the service rep at the garage where I have my car serviced. When they found out that the original manufacturer's part was not available, they suggested sealing the sun roof with silicone. Not only would that have stopped the sunroof from operating, it would not have looked good. Finally, I was referred to Andrew Villareal at South Texas Auto Recon. Andrew suggested buying a used sunroof on Ebay, which he found and ordered for me. Andrew checked and cleaned the roof drains. The replacement sunroof works well and the car has stayed dry through the recent rains. I appreciated Andrew's detailed descriptions of how the sunroof, roof and drains all connect. Andrew also painted the lid of the trunk and the front bumper. He did an excellent job of matching the paint color. It looks great. I thought that the price was reasonable for the work that was done. I will definitely go back to Andrew at South Texas Auto Recon if I need more body work on the car.
