I called Wes and he came over and worked with Penny. We had three lessons. That is all it took! Penny is trained to come back and do all her basic commands. I have used Wes for some other issues that came along the way - chewing the wooden fence in our new house, and once again, his training methods work like a charm. I can't say enough good things about Sit Means Sit and Wes Wyrich. Be prepared to pay for what you get. We got the lifelong lesson package. There are less expensive packages, but I thought we would need a LOT of lessons. We could have had my three pointers take more lessons, but with what he taught us, we were able to train them. Now, they run off leash every single day - no worries at all. I love Sit Means Sit Dog training. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending them to those that want a well trained dog.

Sit Means Sit Corpus Christi boards my Great Dane therapy dog for about 4 weeks every year. My Dane works in a classroom every day with children, so he has to be healthy, happy, well behaved and totally lovable every day! Because Sit Means Sit takes such good care of my dog, he is able to happily work with children daily. Thank you for taking such good care of my goofball! I just picked him up from a four day boarding again today!

During my evaluation visit, Wes had Penny, the untrained rescue, walking in a 'heel' within 10 minutes. I was amazed!!! This was a dog who pulled incessantly on the leash and was VERY hard to control! He also took me outside and let his dog out of the very cool truck - several kennels were inside. His dog, a Belgian Malinois, listened and responded to many commands, and did some amazing things. It was very impressive. Wes presented me with several different training packages including him taking Penny for a week or so and boarding her and training her himself - returning her to me when he was finished. I wanted to learn to train my own dogs, so opted for the unlimited lessons training package that included two ecollars (an extra for my other dog) and receiver, both with lifetime warranties. Also group lessons so that dogs could learn to respond with multiple distractions. I just had my third lesson and cannot extol this program's success enough. My dogs are in control. They walk on a LOOSE leash. There is no more bedlam when we walk out of the door. They don't bark, jump or roughhouse. They are continuing to become well behaved dogs and they LOVE training time. I will say I had a previous experience training my first GSP with the typical food reward method of training. She did not respond 100% of the time. I wanted dogs who would come when called, stay sitting when told to sit and allow me to be in control. This became compounded with TWO GSPs...I had to do something different and a friend recommended Sit Means Sit. I have never regretted this decision. Wes is knowledgeable, focused and very professional. He usually arrives early for our appointment. He is a real dog lover and they respond well to him. The ecollar thing can be offputting to people - believe me, it is not a 'shock' but more of a twinge. You only turn up the numbers when they refuse to listen. They will react just as well off of the collar as on the collar with consistent training. My girls are better dogs and so much more fun to live and interact with since we began training with Sit Means Sit. I highly recommend them.

I was so impressed with Wes and this program. First, he had my rescued German Shorthaired pointer, Penny, in a full heel in 10 minutes. This dog has had NO previous training and I thought she was untrainable as she did not respond as well to food/reward as my other GSP. Then, he brought out his dog for a demonstration. It was amazing. The dog is amazing. Wes presented me with several payment/training options and told me about the Sit-Means-Sit ecollars. We agreed to the unlimited training option and I purchased two ecollars so I could train both of my GSPs. Wes was VERY professional and there was no sales pressure. I was given three days to cancel if I changed my mind. His wife called the following week and we set up the next three training sessions. I cannot wait to get started!!
