I found the technician rude and unprofessional. I was rather surprised as previous visits by a different technician had been satisfactory. I will never have them work on my A/C again. .
Response from Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning
"We regret that you thought we were trying to talk you into buying equipment when you didn't need one. We try to explain as clearly as possible to our customers what is wrong and what it takes to fix it correctly. If our technician recommended replacing equipment, there most likely was a good reason for it. If there is a low-cost, yet responsible alternative we can suggest, we will. But we do not offer solutions that do not actually fix the problem. If you wish to contact us directly, please email us at [email protected] and allow us the opportunity to resolve your concerns if possible."

They did a good job for a good price. They came on time and I have no complaints.

I would never use him. He promises everything and does not deliver. He charges me a fortune for new A/c, a new heater. I did all this from him and then would not come back and service things also. It’s been a fortune with him. Everything what was supposed to be done hasn’t been done. You never can get a hold of him and this is the manager who manages the whole service. I have used them for years and they were a local company wonderful. Then the Mathew brother’s split and I didn’t realize that the company was sold. Now he came in and he has just been horrible company. When I redid all the stuff I spend almost $40,000. He was terrible but the service people that came out were very nice except I don’t think they knew half of what they were doing.

He was very good at making sure I understood everything that he was doing. He also asked about my programmable thermostat and and realized I didn't have the heat and cool option on.  He was able to set it up so now the temperature in the house will stay within a minimum and maximum.  He also explained how to make my heating more efficient and made the necessary adjustments.  Now that it's cold.  I can definately tell the difference.  The house is much more evenly heated and the air doesn't blow as hard for such a short time.

Technician called and tried to get co-worker to call another company. When told it had to be them due to the warranty he made the service call. Performed the work described above. Total time on site less than one hour. Bill sent for $52 diagnostics, $106 for repair, and $5 for parts. Was supposed to return the following Monday to replace harness. Never heard from again. Company tried to bill co-worker for $163 but dropped charges when co-worker reminded them it was covered under warranty.

Overall it was a terrible experience. I had to wait over a month for my appointment---took the day off to meet the technichian. The tech called an hour earlier than the set appointment and found the line to be busy. He did not leave a message, did not call back. Two hours after he was supposed to show up I called the office and they said he tried to contact me and that I would have to reschedule for weeks later! Completely unproffesional and wasted my time when I didn't have the time to waste.

Sloppy installation got stains on floor. Poor quality splice in wiring to the condensor, leaky ductwork. Then they charged us for work that should have been free with our unit. They call themselves "service exerts". It is not how I would describe them. They keep poor records for service experts.
