We have been left with a house under construction which has a partially installed water and sewer line but not inspected. The two bathtubs have not been properly installed nor have the sewer vents to the roof been installed. What he has installed has been OK; however, he has chosen to not come back to complete what he has been totally paid to do. He always seems to have some excuse to not show up and in the past, when he has come, it is late morning at best. We paid via credit card for gas line materials however, we have not seen any of the materials yet (he picked them up at a local supply house in Corpus Christi and they were charged to our credit card). We will likely be forced to pay for another plumber to finish what Rick Downie was paid to do but refuses to complete.

He came over, gave me a quote, was honest as to the job would take several hours and that the next day would be better. He arrived the next day bright and early, did said work and cleaned up before he left.

Rick came out right away when I called and he and his cousin began to work right away. He explained everything that needed to be done and even would show me as the work progressed. Rick is very courteous as is his cousin. The work was completed and down professionally. He even cleaned up any mess that was in the bathroom. I would recommend Rick for any type of plumbing. I plan on having him install a new shower and a new vanity in the near future.

The overall job when very well I will use Mr. Downie again.

Rick was very nice and he spent a long time trying to find what was clogging the drain so that he wouldn't have to cut a whole in my wall. But there was something stuck in the trap and he did eventually have to cut through the wall and the pipe. Did a great job. Cleaned up and patched the wall. And he did it on a Saturday. Very pleasant and eager to please. I would call him for all my plumbing needs.

His prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend him. He is a good person and conscientious. He is a good hard-working guy. He works as an individual. I would use him again in the future.
