I truly wish I had the experience that I read about in the reviews that made me choose Pure tree for our home renovations. Initially the estimator knew exactly what we wanted but our vision did not end up our reality in the final product. To look at our tile shower from a few steps away it is beautiful. One of the problems is the slippage (unevenness of the tile) of several tiles that are still left. They removed some extremely severe lipped tiles but there are still several left to look at daily. The lack of grout or workmanship of the grout on some tiles were replaced is another issue. The shower head and knob not being centered on the wall would be another. We had told the estimator, project manager and field supervisor which way we wanted the shower door to slide open and it was still installed on the opposite side from which we asked for it to open from. After the holes were drilled in the tile and it was installed we just accepted it. Now it bothers me every time I get in and out of it. We also had to buy non-scratch sponges to clean clumps of grout left on the tile and cheese cloth to take the grout haze off of the face of the tiles in the shower as well. Our water damaged wood flooring was replaced, but we have slippage there too because the planks that were purchased were too wide and each plank had to be ripped to the correct width. Making the tongue and groove system of the planks to keep them even and flat nonexistent. Clean up was lacking as well, but I am sure it could have been worse. In the end the rotten wood and leaks are fixed but it was far from the professional workmanship that I read about. Our last contact with the company was repeated texts and calls but not to ask how we liked our final project but collect the final check. Like I said I wish I had the experience that I had read about and I wish they had lived up to their statement We employ only the best tradesmen to work on your project.as stated on their website.

We hired Puretree to build a Mother in law suite/addition to our preexisting detached garage. James and Anthony as well as the rest of the crew was very professional and was there to answer all my questions and guide us through the specifics of such a large project. Most importantly James and Anthony made sure all City inspections were passed as well as all work completed accordingly to city code. Excellent workmanship. The finished project was exactly how we envisioned it to be and so much more!

He was professional and prompt. However, I was a little disappointed in the amount of work done and the quality of work for the price. Overall though, I would probably hire him again.

James and his team came for one job, and ended up repairing nearly everything else I needed done in the home. They are truly a one-stop shop. He is knowledgeable and trustworthy, prompt and the work was reasonably priced and delivered exactly as promised. I will be using James again and again.

James began his work promptly, (on Monday after being contracted Saturday), and completed the work in less than a day.
