Pool and Spa Servicing
I am a Home warranty customer that was assigned Pacesetter Pools as a contractor to fix the issues that were happening with my pool.
My cost was just $55.00 due to the fact that I pay a monthly fee for the warranty insurance. To start with it took Pacesetter about five days to contact me regarding the situation. Then it took almost two weeks to get a routine part to fix my problem. During this time communication was terrible to say the least. Pacesetter only uses subcontractors to do their work in order to not pay any kind of benefits to their employees. The subcontractor that came to my house was obviously very disillusioned with the company as he bashed them throughout the first visit. Right now I am waiting to see when they are going to finish fixing my pool, there is a green tint that is starting to show and that is not good. I know this service isn't complete yet but I wanted to let Angie's list customers know that Pacesetter Pools is a company that is not to be used if one has other options!

Service was adequate, when we actually received service. Maintenance person rarely showed up weekly; pool has gone green this summer for the third time in two months (one time was just before my daughter's graduation party weekend). Each time it has happened, they flock the pool and make it right, then return to the same pattern of neglectful service. Office manager is completely unresponsive to complaints. Manager was shown pics of the pool in it's third green stage and promised to come out that day to take care of things. Didn't show and didn't call - completely typical. Unbelievably poor customer service. I couldn't possible recommend this company for any pool work.
