Diagnosis was accurate and the job which was electrical in nature was fixed at minimum cost
Many times as in this situation they were able to fix the issue without purchasing the entire module at 4 times the cost
Too many mechanics are only capable of replacing parts and cant fix things even that are fixable
Tommy has been able to keep my vehicle running for years and years ...some with over 400
K miles...saving me thousands of dollars over the years

For years I have relied on the honest feedback I've gotten from Tommy and now Shane about what was wrong with my vehicles.
I have not hesitated to refer anyone I know to Tommy and have never heard a credible complaint about the diagnosis or the price or the quality of his work.
I had a 1977 Cadillac de Ville that I kept running with Tommy for over 335,000 miles and was running good when I sold it and another Lincoln Town car for over 270,000 miles
My current vehicles have 190,000 miles and 110,000 . I am planning on keeping both these vehicles for many years to come, mainly because I know the service needs of my vehicles will be handled in a cost effective manner.
I haven't had a car payment for 10 years ...saving me thousands of dollars....mainly because I have a mechanic I can trust ....I HATE CAR PAYMENTS.....
I'm sure there are many trustworthy people in this business, but I am just as sure there a charlatans and cheaters out there which prey upon the unsuspecting public and attempt to fleece their customers at every opportunity.....I am aware of dozens of stories I have heard from friends and clients that confirm my belief. As vehicles have become more complex it is ever more difficult for even the savvy consumer to know if he is being conned with reference to mechanical needs.
Most of us are not so savvy and need to know a man like Tommy Mahaffey.....I highly recommend...... Mahaffeys Garage

It's a father-son business only and they've been working forever. They'll do things sometimes and not even charge you. They are really courteous and the service is simply great. When they inspect things they tell you what you'll need down the road so you have an idea but don't push anything on you. They're also very good with women, which is unusual for mechanics. I've been going to them for years.

Mahaffey's Garage is very honest, he'll do his best to get you the best price. He is timely, I never have to worry about him cheating me. The garage is in it's third generation of being owned by the same family and we have been using them for all of them. They are a great family and it is a great family business.
