LONG'S HEATING & AIR COND

Excellent.

It took two days, they covered the entire house with drop cloths so they would not make a mess. They replaced one system first, then replaced the second, this way the house could still be livable. Very professional and courteous. They were not the cheapest, but they gave the best warranty.

The A/C works great now. They installed both the inside and outside units. They also installed a carbon monoxide monitor and threw in a Honeywell thermostat. They leveled my A/C slab as part of the job, which was nice.
My only critique was that when I came home for lunch I found the workers eating their lunch in my kitchen while jamming out loudly to some weird death metal music. When they saw me they didn't budge, they just explained what they had already done without moving. I had to ask for one of them to stand up and actually point to what they were talking about, which I thought was all a bit unproffesional.
Also, I showed them how there was now a gap in the flute going up into the roof, but they said they didnt' take care of that. I told them it wasn't like that before but when they left they didn't fix it.
I called an complained to the company the next day, on a Saturday, when I discovered they just left it like that and the Long's A/C guy said he'd come by in an hour with the two workers to see what I was talking about. When they got there they immediately saw what I was telling them and they got on the roof to cover the gap. The guy used the silvery tape they use to tape up duct work so I bet I'll have to go up there to fix it after a few years.
Overall though, the work was done and the a/c works great.

My outside unit kept shutting off and I called Mr. Long. His techs came out and diagnosed the problem as a starter issue and replaced the starter. They did an excellent job and stand behind Rudd the product brand they sell. I also had a problem about a year before and they came out and just cleaned it out. He always shows up on time and does a great job.
