Leo's Tree Trimming

This guy is a jerk omce you disagree with him. He is very arrogant and won't listen if you tell him to cut a tree differently so it doesn't damage your propery. SHOP AROUND BEFORE HIRING HIM. Hired to cut down a group of thin but tall salt cedar trees not stumping just cutting about 2 to 3 foot off the ground. I wanted a tree where it had grown to the side instead of up. One tree that was average size this one i wanted stumped , and another tree that was tall but hardly had any foliage on it. They didn't clean up the after cutting the one that was stumped, the on that was tall and didn't have much foliage the ended up messing up the line running to the security light. I had to call the city to come and fix. They also removed all the stuff out of a rock garden that used to have fountain now just pants and didn't put the stuff back. They also broke 3 of rocks off which was built by my father in law for my mother in law a very long time ago. It as in great shape until they came along. After messing up the rock and the line for the security light I told the owner who sat back while the other guy did the cutting. That if he couldn't take the tree that is growing to the side out with out causing more problems for me to fix he didn't need to mess with it. He then said fine that he wanted his money. I told him I was not going to pay him the full amount he didn't do all the work. He also damaged my personal property and the security light wiring. The stuff he loaded in the trailer and took to the back I had to move because he had branched over 2 inches in diameter sticking out pass the road. Which if a car hits I am responsible for because the brush is not to exceed past the road. I paid him 125, which I would of charged him 100 bucks for me having to get my chain saw out to cut the limbs in the ally. One I complained the owner and the worker started acting like they didn't know the damage was done to the rock garden, then proceeded to start running their mouths. They also didn't clean up the small branches like I specifically asked them to do. The wife we so quick to tell me they have insurance insurance. I hope they do because if the electric company charges me for having to rewire the security light due to their ignorance, they will probably need it. I used Hernandez Landscaping and lawn service from Alice. They acasually do what they say they clean up the mess and don't break anything. They are respectful and do ALL the work they are hired for. Leo's may give you a cheap price, but remember you get what you pay for.

Leo and his assistant came over within 2 hours of calling him. They were very communicative and heard working. (no language barriers). They were friendly, went streight to the job and finished in an astonishing four hours. They cleaned up after the job's completion. They hauled off all the fronds and sheath debris. Could not have done a better job. Price was competitive with other tree trimmers and at first seemed a little high. But you get what you pay for and when the job is done perfectly it's worth it.

Didn't complete all work that was already paid for, nor did they return the key.
If you choose to do business with them, get it in writing and be onsite to monitor what they do. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them, though.

The crew arrived at approximate 10 AM and spent two hours trimming and cleaning 5 queen palms and 2 double crape myrtles.
They brought all the necessary equipment--ladders, chain saws, tree trunk scrapers, rakes, etc. Every small bit of debris was cleaned up to the point of blowing off the sidewalk. The work was very professional.Everything was hauled away on their truck. I will definitely use this tree service again.
