After putting in toilet a week or two later we noticed water in carpet in bedroom near toilet . Called Mr. Hand back. He returned with another plumber. When they pulled the toilet to find the problem we all saw the pic toilet flange was bent up on both sides where the bolts were. I believe that Mr Hand must have over tightened it when he installed the toilet, he was very strong looking. I was there for the first install & the toilet flange was not warped at that time from what I remember. To my complete suprise Mr. Hand said " the flange is warped, we will need to replace it. I didn't notice that when I installed it. I was very mad. He replaced the flange & reset the toilet again. Then he told his co-plumber to charge me for it. Then when he handed me the pad to sign his receipt he had written on the receipt " customer is very satisfied" I noticed it as I was signing. Nice trick. I would never ever call this guy back to my home. He was a fireman & did plumbing on the side back then. I believe he is a nice person however I cannot abide with his business practices that happened at my house. Of course that was a long time ago.

I have a rental property and my renters told me that they spotted water damage on the drywall in the downstairs closet. The closet is located under the master bathroom. I had used Hand Plumbing in the past at a different home and did not hesitate to call them for help. I explained that the hole was not wet and that there was no existing dampness. I was told by the office staff that he would go out and look at the problem. It took the plumber four to five days to get to the address to access the problem and I was told that he believed that the drain was not calked well and that there was a separation between the grout and the tub in the master bath. It is the only thing that he could find that might have caused a problem. The agreement was that he would address those two issues and then the renters were to call him if it continued. He calked the drain and then came back and a couple of days later to fill the crack in the grout. My issues with the service are that it took him almost a week to make it by the property and I was not told about the delay in service. I had told the renters that they would be getting in touch with them and I didn't know they hadn't gone by until the renters called to tell me they had not heard from them. I was quoted a $75.00/hr service fee and when I got the bill I was charged for two hours of labor + material. The hourly wage was $112.50. When I started asking about the bill: total $251.20 was so high. After several phone calls back and forth it was explained to me that he charged me $75.00 an hour for his work however, he had a helper and I was charged an extra $37.50 an hour to cover the cost of the helper. I have never been charged for a journeyman's helper before. He made the bill right and brought the labor charge back down to $75.00 an hour and my final bill was $176.50 which was more in line for the job performed. It took weeks to get this issue straightened out with the plumbing company and it was more time and money than I should have spent on a patch job. There is no guarantee that his intervention fixed the problem.

Water was running down the outside of the concrete slab from the copper line going to the hose bid valve. There were several lines that could have been supplying the line leaking inside the slab. He tested each until he found the correct one. After he stopped the flow to the leaking line he ran another line for us to use for the hose bid.
We have since used him to replace our water heater and are fully satisfied with his work.

Plumbing inspection and hydrostatic testing during the inspection phase of a house purchase. Plumber was prompt and courteous. Report was brief but comprehensive and fully explained why some parts of inspection could not be completed. Price was a little higher than some other companies in the area, but this company was recommended by my realtor and was available on short notice.

They vacuumed the vent from the rooftop, so they had to climb up on the roof. They were on time and did a very good job. I will be calling them again in about two months to have it redone.
