They are okay. I don't remember the last time what it cost but it seems like every time I take my car somewhere, it is $500. The price is probably a B, probably comparable to any other dealership,

I called on a Friday, spoke to 3 people. I gave my warranty information (policy #, phone, company) to the first two people then finally made a Saturday am appointment with the 3rd. After they had the car an hour, they came to tell me the warranty office is open M-F and there wasn't anything they could do unless I came in M-F. I have a job. Not to mention at this point he said I couldn't even get the window fixed, because they didn't have the part. They did however want $120 for them to tell me they didn't have a part, a diagnostic fee. I told them what was wrong, it's obvious, no computer needed. Why in the world would I need to drive 75 miles and pay $120 for you to tell me you can't fix it. Could have said you didn't carry the part over the phone. After making my feelings known, they did waive the fee, probably because I wasn't the young dumb girl with daddy's credit card who just said okay. Needless to say, I will not be getting my car repaired there.

My review involves the Ed Hicks Nissan dealership service department and sales team.
Service: I started taking my 1998 Nissan Sentra to the Ed Hicks dealership when I moved to Corpus Christi in 2000. For the next 12 years, they serviced my car - through regular maintenance work and "emergency" repairs when something went wrong with the car. I found the service department to be very customer-oriented. I was always greeted in a friendly manner; any repairs were explained carefully before I gave permission for them to be completed. Over the years, I developed a relationship with one of the service managers. I always called him when I had a problem. He helped me keep my car running for 12 years until I could purchase a new car. He kept the car running at reasonable costs.
The Ed Hicks dealership has large and clean facilities. There is a spacious and comfortable waiting area. They also provide free rides to and from the dealership. They have always been prompt and courteous. Even as my car was aging, I was always treated with respect and courtesy as if I were driving a new high-price car. As a woman, I feel a need to be careful in dealing with car dealers and repairmen. I always felt that I was treated fairly and honestly.
Sales: I was able to purchase a new Nissan Altima in March 2013. I interacted with an Internet concierge, sales agent, and office agent. Again, I was treated with respect and all aspects of the new car and the financial and insurance issues were explained clearly. I am very comfortable dealing with the Ed Hicks personnel.

I looked at several different brands but they stood out since they were just informative, nice and pleasant to deal with. Their sales manager asked if I would be interested in a loan since they would get a kick back if I took one. Then he looked around at what he could do for me and got me a zero percent interest for five years. Due to this I did not have to take my money out of savings and could leave it there to keep growing as well as pay them over a period of five years. They send me cards, email reminders or call every six months to remind me to go and get my auto butler which is a coating that protects my car better. When I call them back it gets done and they are very good. I have not had a problem with them in any area.
