Discount Tree Service

On December 10, 2013 Christina who owns Discount Tree Service noticed me outside my house starting to put up Christmas decorations. She asked to trim up my hedges and small trees and pull weeds to which I agreed and we settled on a price. She brought one young man the next morning at 8 am to start the work. I did not give her money up front. At 1 pm when I needed to leave for work I told the worker who called Christina and she returned to my house. We discussed what was left to be done and she stated it would be finished by that afternoon. At that time the work was only half completed. I gave her the money in full and left. When I returned, it was obvious to me that THEY LEFT ALSO at the same time I did, never finishing the work that was only half done. I tried and tried to reach her at the phone number on her website, but that phone had been turned off and it appeared to me that she was avoiding me. Finally more than a month later I called the number again, which had a new message, and left her a voice message to please call me to discuss my problem. She called me from another number and we still, several days later, have not talked about the problem because she is refusing to answer again. DO NOT use this company for your landscaping or tree service. She will steal from you and she will lie to your face in order to get business. She claimed to have worked on the house of a prominent Corpus Christi resident. I have since spoken to this person and she has never employed Discount Tree Service. After all the messages I left, I never did hear from Christina. Total avoidance on her part.

We chose them because of price and availability. We had a good experience. They are very professional. They were on time and they cleaned up very well.
