Great experience, very professional, clean and courteous! My family has used them for years and highly recommended the company. They even gave me a very generous military discount and warranty for the work done. Now I highly recommend them based on my own experience. Thank you once again!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT call Discount Electric. Mike was horribly rude and was only concerned about the reputation of his employees when a burglary concern was brought to his attention. Mike was in contact with my husband on Friday that he would be meeting his guys over at our house to work on the electric. On Monday evening my husband went to our house to find the garage, back door, and window wide open. Our brand new oven, water heater, washer, & dryer had been stolen along with countless other items. A police report and insurance claim were both filed. I called and left a voicemail with Discount Electric on Tuesday morning. No returned call. I called back after I left work and was able to speak with Mike. He initially told me that his guys had gone to our home on Friday, but were only there for a short time as they had an “emergency”. He said he was going to contact his employees and return my call. He called back 20 mins later and said they actually did not go on Friday, but went on Monday and only stayed for a couple hours as they had to go to an “emergency”. He stated that upon his employees arrival to my home, our garage, back door, and windows were opened, but they didn’t think it was strange. I received no communication that they would be working on my house that day, let alone that upon their arrival, my home was completely unsecured and open. According to Mike, after they left, they locked all of my doors and closed everything up as his employees are trained and would never leave a house open when leaving. Yet, when we arrived a few hours later, everything was wide open. Mike stated the robbers must’ve been there earlier taking things, seen his employees show up, wait for them to leave, and proceed to take more of our things because his employees DEFINITELY locked our home back up when they left on Monday. The “point of entry” into the home was through a back bathroom window (coincidentally the same room the electricians were hired to work on). The window was old and didn’t have a lock, but two screws were placed on both sides of the interior of the window that prevented it from being opened. Somehow, the screws were removed from the inside, thus allowing one to open the window from the outside. You can see the holes on the window from where the screws used to be, as well as the screws on the windowsill, not broken or bent, but perfectly in tact. I proceeded to call Mike and tell him the additional information. I had wondered if maybe they were not being malicious, but possibly took the screws out to open the window because our ac was not running. Mike was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept saying I was accusing his workers of doing something they would never do, because they would never lie to him. They offered to take a lie detector test, which I informed them were inaccurate and unreliable. Mike mocked me, interrupted me, did not listen to my concerns, and flat out told me he was done and didn’t want to hear anymore after I politely asked him to stop interrupting me. This company does not have their customers best interests at heart and absolutely does not treat them like “family”. The only thing they were concerned about was the reputation of their company and getting a paycheck. Mike claimed I was refusing to pay for the work done, which was not the case. I never once said I wouldn’t pay for the work, I was simply trying to find out what happened to all of my belongings. He also did not provide an invoice, bill, or even a phone call to let me know they were working. Please let this serve as a cautionary tale for others looking for an honest, reputable company to do their work. Pay the extra money and go elsewhere, it will save you so much more in the long run.

Rico and Anthony T worked 2 days. Electricians were on time both days and worked expeditiously to complete the project. Cleaned up each evening and were very pleasant. Great job! Reasonably priced and gave veterans/senior citizens discount.

They are prompt, and on time. They do what they say they are going to do, and I do not have to babysit them. They give a list of what they are going to, and go out there and get it done.
