She gave me an estimate of $ 60,000 for this job. She is fair and the quality of her work is better that what I had seen from one of her competitors even though her price was a little higher. She is very reliable, approachable and easy to get in touch with. The people that she has signed up that either work like directly or under contract with her are really good. She knows really good people and has been in business for about seventeen years. She started of strictly building homes but when the economy went down she started doing some remodeling as well.

Remodeling was on time and budget. Work crew friendly and great cleanup after completion

We took bids on the work and Diane was competitive but not the cheapest - took a look at her prior jobs and the quality appeared to warrant going with her firm. Best decision we made !
Getting a contractor can be really a tough proposition, they may be good but their subs are not all up to par - or the subs may be good but the contractor is hard to find, always busy and not there once you sign the contract. That is not the case with Diane Builders.
From the start she was helpful but not pushy - worked with us and designed the addition that we felt would work. She started on time and each one of the trades came by to talk with us and let us know what they would be able to do and how they would compete their part of the job. Each one of the trades was a complete professional at what they did, each one completed their work on time and within budget. Diane was on the job site at least once every day sometimes twice. following up - making sure it was done as expected. She would show up on Saturdays just to check up on how things were going. Quality work was demonstrated from the concrete work to the bricklayers - the folks that did the tile were the best i have seen - the shower work was showroom quality. Cabinet maker was tops, matched the existing work perfectly (actually was better quality)
I strongly recommend Diane Builders for any type of contractors work you may have, our project took several months of daily activity and and all through the project she made sure we were on time, on budget and pleased with the outcome.
