Details are too lengthy but they include: discontinued tile ordered, replacement tile ordered, installers showed up week early, area rug incorrectly cut and bound and delivered with no one in quality control checking. The installation crew was great. They pitched in and moved my bedroom furniture out of my rooms and then back into rooms. They discovered the mistake on the rug size. Ultimately Aston's made good on their many mistakes by not charging me for their installers moving my furniture. I would rather have had a smooth installation and not so many errors.

The good news is Aston?s installation crews did a very good job installing the Corian and quartz countertops. My husband and I are quite pleased with the appearance of both.  It goes downhill from there.
We were planning a complete kitchen remodel ? down to bare walls.  Since we were not changing the footprint of the kitchen, I wanted to keep the existing Corian countertops.  The retailer from whom we were ordering the cabinets and appliances did not sell or work with Corian.  As a result, we were referred to Aston?s.  Initial contact with the sales rep was encouraging. She was helpful, friendly, and offered suggestions.  But once we were out of the showroom, it was almost like we didn?t exist. Never once did she return a phone call when I left a voice mail.  The crew who removed the Corian showed up on time and did a good job.  The template crew showed up on time. Since we were expanding the existing island in length and were adding a
breakfast bar at one end, I?d picked out a quartz counter top for the island, breakfast bar, and window sill. My contractor and I spent 20-30 minutes going over in minute detail exactly how the breakfast bar would fit in with the rest of the island.  The Aston employee with whom we were discussing this had me sign an ?owner takes full responsibility? statement in case it didn?t work out exactly as planned.  I didn?t mind at all since the Aston?s employee didn?t know the contractor and vice-versa.  When the crew showed up a week later, as scheduled, to install ALL the countertops, they did not have the quartz countertops with them. My contractor called the sales rep with whom I?d been working and asked what was going on.  He was told there had been ?a problem? with the original template design and a new template would have to be done before they could cut the quartz.  NEVER ONCE WAS I NOTIFIED OF A PROBLEM.  No phone call.  No email. Nothing.  It took another day ? and at least 3 more phone calls ? to get someone over to re-measure the island.  When they finally arrived, we were initially told it would take one to two weeks until the quartz could be installed!  My contractor, my husband, and I all expressed the opinion that such a time frame was completely unsatisfactory since it was THEIR error that caused the delay. All of a sudden, it was reduced to between 3 and 5 DAYS.
I don?t think I?ve ever done business with a company whose employees were as poor at maintaining communication with their client(s).  In the 6 weeks I was doing business with them, I had exactly 2 phone calls returned in a timely manner (none of which were from the sales rep who handled my account).  And it?s not like I was calling every day with a different question or problem.  It is mind-boggling to me that something as major as an incorrect/missing/whatever problem with a design was NEVER communicated to the client.  I can safely say I will never use Aston?s again.

They were fine but were high on price. I did have some problems with some of the workers but since the company is big enough, they were able to get somebody else in there instead of me being there stranded.

I have mixed emotions on it because we had problems like there were some guys who didn't show up one day and there are things that some of the workers didn't do but as far as the company standing behind it, I felt like I would do business with them again because I felt like they're honest. They'll stand behind what they're doing. I think the company is an honest company. The impression I get from the salespeople is that they've been there for a while and they're experienced and know the business. The service manager knows the business.

I spent about $20,000 on the job. I have used them before. They have a wide selection to choose from in their showroom. They seem to be very knowledgeable. They are able to do different style jobs. I will use them again in the future.
