Richard Valadez was very professional and came immediately to give us an estimate on installing hurricane shutters on all our upstairs windows. We considered the estimate very fair. Richard is quite friendly, professional and knows the business well. We had complete confidence in him. The installation went smoothly and we are very pleased with our hurricane shutters. I highly recommend Academy Window Coverings. I wish we would have installed these sooner and the shutters also help with cooling the house in the summer.

I so enjoyed the beauty and convenience of the inside shutters Academy Windows installed a few years ago on four windows that I had them come out and put shutters on the remaining windows. They did a superb job, going beyond what I originally requested. These guys are the best!!

He charged me a lot for his service since he is a very expensive and not cheap. They are very professional and have been in business for around fifty years. They always have someone in the office that I can get and their installer who is the son of the business has now become like a friend of mine. The mother or daughter in law is usually the one who answers the phone. Sometimes I have to call and ask them what's happening after which they will say that their people will come out in a few days. They are just not as prompt as I thought they always might be but otherwise they are very nice, efficient and I love their product. If I have any problems I can call them and they are right there. They always have someone who I can talk to.

the man I spoke with said he would give my name and number to his estimator and have him call me to set up an appointment. Over a week later no one has called me back. Guess they don't need the business. I won't call them again
