Originally had asked for 50% upfront. I refused and thought that would be the end, but he called back the next day and agreed to nothing up front. Showed up on time with a crew, did a good job removing the tree and grinding the stumps, cleaned up OK, but when they replaced a section of the fence they had decided to remove because it was too close to the tree, they did a lousy job, and a few days later a wind blew the fence over. When I complained, they came back, put the fence up, but left it with 3 long boards propping it up on my neighbor's side. They said the post was mostly rotten anyway, and they would charge to come back and fix it. Yes the post was fairly bad, but I blame the fence blowing over on their crew. If they had followed up on this problem correctly, I would give them a much higher rating.
