Suddenly, only half of my house's electricity was working. Half the lights in half the rooms, no stove or microwave, but the refrigerator was working, and the heating system was not. I called this older gentleman about 9 p.m. and he came out the very next day at 8 a.m. when others could not make it out for a few days. He checked things out rather quickly and replaced a circuit breaker at the outside of my house, where half the breaker had gone bad. He also said a lesser quality breaker was used when the house was built, and that the amperage was not correct on the old breaker.
He was courteous, friendly, and humorous at times (like older fellas are).
After he solved my problem, my neighbors told me he also did some wiring for them from their house down into a shed, and they said his price was reasonable compared to other electricians they contacted.
I plan to call on him any time I have an electrical problem I cannot figure out on my own.

  • The first visit cost me $115.00, went great. After they left the breaker box still smelled like burned wires, so I called them to come back. They estimated the work to be around $2000.00 to put in a whole next breaker box (up to code). I was not hesitate to allow it, the next day after talking to one of the employees about the appointment. They began to talk to me very rude, belittling me as if they were speaking to a child.  I will recommend that no one use them- please save your money! No one should be treated that way- Please save your money and go somewhere else. Do not use their charm of being on time or low service cost to persuade you into using their services.

Several months later I had no eletrical power to that area and surrounding area. Called another electritian who stated everything had shorted out and live wires where let in my attic. It cost me $1000.00 to repair everything. Called Owens electric, the were rude and finally came to look at it and said it was not their work that caused the problem.

They took care of something in my house and they came out straight the next morning. They did a good job and the people are really nice. They did a really good job and I don't have to wait along.

Mr. Owens did a great job! Did the job in a timely matter. I asked them if they could add a light switch in the attic, they were able to accommodate my request. I would hire them again.

Electric representative could not find the transformer. I search and found it then it was very simple cause all he had to do was hook the wire back up to the transformer and then the door bell started working just fine.

Owens' came out and gave me an estimate on my project. They told me what components I could provide to lower my overall costs. They gathered quite a bit of information about my project in order to insure the end result is what I wanted and needed. They even made suggestions on cost savings items I could do to lower my costs again.

I trenched, installed the conduit, and electric outlets. When they arrived they 'inspected' what I had done and insured it was correct. The pulled the electric wire through my conduit and connected 100 Amp service from the main electric service entrance to the out building. They were efficient and came in under budget!
